Hehe! tugrin you may not actually be that far from me, though East Anglia is a rather large area hehe! He said he's actually drive along the byway, so that's a big help, then we can just pile the hay into the car 2 bales at a time and ferry it down the field.
Horses leave hoofprints on your heart as they say, I doubt anyone ever really 'recovers' from them0 -

Do you mind sharing where you got your snow shovel from? I really need to get one for my car, got caught out last year
Thanks.0 -

Thanks.
I got the folding one on e*bay - it's like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Emergency-Folding-Snow-Shovel-Camping-Digging-Spade-/130533931172?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e646db8a4 ( that's a weird link, hope it works ..... there are some cheaper ones but thought this one looked reasonably sturdy).
The "proper" one for the house, I got on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-GT30-Square-Mouth-Shovel/dp/B000LFU08Q/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1317747641&sr=8-4 ( they've nearly doubled in price in the few short weeks since I got mine)....
Thanks for the suggestions on milk...
Think I'm going to take Frugal's advice and try a few before I wade in any buy a load. Things seems to have moved on with choice (thank goodness) - I've heard of rice milk etc but can't get it around here.
A trip to the "big supermarket in town" will be needed as very little choice here but probably well worth it in the long run.:D I did try Soya a long time ago (and didn't like it) but I probably used it for coffee which may explain a lot!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

It is and yes most people who own horses are not the sloaney rich types just ordinary people who are a bit broke but have a unique affinity with these wonderful creatures. I wouldn't be without my two either and everytime I hear the biggest one call to me first thing in the morning when he hears my footsteps it just makes my day. If DH walks down not a shout, me big neighs and kicks on his door or gate!! I affectionately refer to them as my fag and beer money!!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:
