I've got no idea what you are talking about.Ignore this ..... they clearly work for MBNA, see:

As such I have spammed him and would encourage others to do the same!
In which thread does it look like they work for MBNA? This one or the other one? Because in neither of them can I see anything like that!0 -

PJB seems to have launched a vendetta against thegoodman, who I see no evidence of working for MBNA, because thegoodman (a) Dared to disagree with his unusual views on attaching conditions to paying off charges incurred when inadvertently breaching credit terms and (b) Wrote an impolite response to the OP of this thread.
I wonder if PJB will mark us two as spammers now, for challenging him? In which case I'd report him for abuse of the spam button, and defamation.0 -
Just to clear the air. I do not work for the credit card company, bank or any company to do with the money, credit or loan.
Sometime I say things "As is" which somepeople dont like hearing.
Also I dont have anything againest PJB.
No need to report him for Spam, if he feel that way I can understand. I dont want him to be blocked for expressing his/her opinion

Similar thing happened with the Lloyds TSB platinum Card I had. It morphed in to the LLoydsTSB Platinum Duo. 1 master card, 1 Amex on 1 statement. More airmiles earnt with the Amex.0 -

I thought you must work for cap1.
BTW, you only say things 'as you believe it is' and sometimes you are simply biased, which you probably dont like to admit. Anyhow, being biased is just human nature.

I hope they still stick around for existing customers and not sell their business to someone else.
I was originally with RBOS and my account was sold off to MBNA a few years ago. MBNA have been generally good once I realised that their bills each month can sometimes have a quite quick period to pay before late payment fees kick in (got caught on a couple of occasions where the bill arrived and the payment date passed all within the span of a 2 week annual holiday).
I hope they will still provide their promotions if they stick with the current UK business... TBH I've been taking advantage of all the promotions over the last few years with all their 0% deals but I've still used it much more than the original RBOS card which was only obtained as a backup card. I even make a few small purchases each year which I never did with RBOS just to make sure they don't take it from me for lack of use.
I've certainly benefited overall from the generous promotions from MBNA and will be sorry to see them go if they decide to leave for good.0 -
I too will be sorry if MBNA wind down their operations, I've had seom good repeats off them over the years which is why I've kept my card with them. I have a hefty balance transfer coming up in February / March so am worried that this will reduce competition and result in some non-deals by that time...0
