we have one, the new part of the house in 1740s and the bathroom is in the old bit....ALL the plumbing came later than that though:rotfl: but our plumbing is also pants.

Honestly, it's not possible... I'll upload a picture of the bathroom setup later, but trust me.
The landlord has superglued a plastic screen on the edge of the bath and has installed a mixer tape (which mixes the water down, but not up, because he hasn't changed the location of the tank, there is no hot water pressure).
It's one tap, not two. Hose + showerhead don't work because there's no pressure.
The same goes for the sink tap. He's installed a mixer, and I've checked all major retailers and our local DIY shop, I can't find any single rubber connector shower heads. Anyone point me in the right direction...? I've tried all the obvious places - The Range, Wilkinsons, Asda, Tesco, Homebase, Amazon, Ebay, local DIY....
Haven't had much luck with my hair so farThe longest it's stayed and smelt clean is about 6 hours or so... right up til now I could wash my hair twice a week and it was squeaky!
Ditched the bubble bath and am forcing my boyfriend to pour jugs of water while I massage the suds out. Time for another method... ?0 -

right, for one tap the best you'll get that I can thing of is a hose. You need the older sort of hoze attachment that is a sort of rubber thing and a jubilee clipI use that downstairs sometimes. Then a short length of hose
(you could put a ''gun'' on the end to get a shower effect but I think the hose alone might be better.
)
Otherwise its a jug I'm afraid...which is what I do0 -

Thank you!! May try the second link - the first and last say they're too small for mixer taps?0 -
i also use the rubber hose and showerhead things and it works okay.
depends on the taps if you can get the bits to go onto the taps okay as ive found that they pop off occasional when im showering.
a super cheapo one would do to try in say?0
