Hello again everyone,
It's another beauty here today. No work today as I have tendinitis in my footIt's very painful so my job is out of the question until its better (I work on the shop floor).
Have been advised to rest completley but thats out of the question with lots of washing and beautiful sun. Have washed and dried 2 loads just put 3rd on line.
Also need to do food shop at some point but I really can't walk very far atm and it's rather painful to drive so might wait until tomorrow and hope it calms down abit.
I've taken some plaice out of the freezer for tea, so will fry that up with either hm wedges or jacket??
Other than that I'm just rotating the frozen veg around my foot so that I don't defrost them :rotfl:
I got abit upset at the docs as can't afford time off work as we don't get sick pay, he was lovely as always and gave me a note to ensure I got paid.
DD wants to make a pizza 2moro. I have everything in apart from a base, do u think pesto could be used???
Have a great day xxMarch grocery challenge 147.28 / 150.00 :j

Afternoon everyone, typing from university. I decided to stay in over my break to do some dissertation work but the system isn't working
Wish I'd just gone home and carried on with washing! I think I might have moths as I've noticed moth like holes in some thin tops (mostly cotton but one was viscose but i've read they will eat dirty synthetics), I think it may have happened when I was at OH's old flat
As a precaution I'm washing all my clothes anyway, spraying the furniture and will get some lavender/cedarwood balls. It's just one thing after another isn't it? Grrr
I'm going Asda later hoping there will be reduced bananas as dried bananas were such a success. Apples and pears didn't work at all, probably because I laid them straight on to a tray so the air couldn't circulate. I guess i'll experiment further at the weekend. Glace chestnuts probably needed more boiling but they're still really tasty and the broken bits and leftover syrup will be amazing on pancakes.
I'll catch up on more threads later with a cuppaLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Candy it is supposed to be this

It's all in little bits. We are having to construct the entire thing!!!!! Thankfully I didn't pay £81 for it :eek::eek:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

hello all,
been hit today with the dreaded period headache. i know that i wll have this now for the next four days and no tablets will touch it. so im sitting here this minute with a warm beanbag on my head. its a good look. took dh to hospital this morning as he has ulcers on his eyes so were all sick today. been to work but very little been done in house.doesnt need to really still quite shiny and tidy. tea is in the form of ready made cottage pie and hm yorkshire puds with choc cake to finish or fruit. really pleased with my spending this week. spent 25 pounds on shopping using up my freezer stuff has helped save me money.
hot here today which makes my kitchen aat work an unpleasent place to be.0 -
Afternoon all
Lovely here, just got up and off to the gym in a bit. Didn't have a very good sleep as it's so hot and I've taken my blackout curtains down DOH! Spose I should put them back up again if this weather continues.
BITSY Happy Birthday to your DS, so glad DS has grown out of toys like marble run that you need a degree to put together!
Jaxx hope your toe isn't too bad.
Uolypool glad to hear your daughter has sorted herself out.
Big hugs to all who need one today.
Tea tonight is leftovers. Then work tonight and off the weekend, have a bit of childfree time as DS is at his Dad's until Sunday.
Have a lovely day in this sunshine.

Afternoon ladies, just a quicky from me, Thank you all for the mentions regarding dd, she was a bit sheepish when she came in last night , but was soon back to the old daughter before she had her personality transplant;).It was lovely to just have her give me a huge hug before she went to bed last night and say sorry.Brought a tear to my eye:o. She got up this morning and was her normal cheery self so being at her dads has done some good . He was on the phone first thing this morning ranting down the phone about how I forced her to come home:eek: boring same old cr ap from him, just put my phone on the side and went and made a cuppa, he was still ranting when I picked the phone back up.Dont think he even realised I wasn't listening:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Never mind
Ds2 went to an open mic day at uni and sung , one of his room mates cried ,now she knows how I feel everytime I hear him sing;).Talking about ds2, did I mention that his girlfriend was going to ask him to marry her when we all went out for a meal before he left?? well she did and he said no:eek::eek::j:j. I shouldn't really be so happy as she was mortified but he said that he was only 18 and just starting out with his life and didnt want to be weighed down with a wedding or a wife. She cried , she sobbed and threw the mother of all strops . But is still going out with him.Hate to think what she will say when she finds out there are a group of girls mothering him at uni;)
Right now to go back and catch up huge hugs for everyone:):)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -
Beautiful day. Im washing for England and the dogs keep running for cover as i approach as they fear they will be next:eek::eek::eek:
I had a busy but lovely day again. I so appreciate my days when they are like this and I feel (almost) human again :T:T:T DD and I mooched around Lakeland but I am going back again tomorrow as i have determined to take back my dish rack which I brought from them under a year ago and which has gone rusty. I know they will replace it no problem but I hate taking stuff back. Pre MSE I would just have bought a new one but now Im braver and hate bad value/ poor quality.
Enjoy this evening xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
