I am so sorry you wasted your money and time on this place !
actually you have reminded me of a story about an ex. He was a complete nutter, anyway he hooked up with some woman through a contact magazine, turned up at her flat with flowers for her! and then when he got there, there was some man at the door who wouldn't let him in!
so maybe it is just as well this one day a week people were not there!!! a very lucky escape.
universe, you have sent your lesson, now something nice please.0 -

i have been tv free for 2 years but tv seems to be getting better (downtowon abbey for example) i can get a workable tv for £20. i know useless in oct 2012 as switch happens then but thinking of getting one. hopefully by oct 2012 things may have changed for the better and i can get a nice one...
secondly, how do i subscribe to a diary. i know it's in CP but then what?
not sure what your first question is?
goto the diary, you want to subscribe to, on the green toolbar, click on thread tools, click on subscribe to this thread and then decide how you want to receive notifications, then click on ok/save0 -
not sure if you saw post before got removed, but free listing weekend on ebay this weekend.
I personally wouldn't bother buying a tv for £20 if it is not digital compatible as they are already converting a lot of areas and you may lose access earlier than you think.
keep an eye on freecycle and freegle for tvs that are digital ready but people are giving away as they have upgraded.0 -
Hello doingitanyway,
How are you feeling today?
I went away for the weekend and even though it wasn't the best weekend away (booked before I lost my job so I went anyway), I met loads of nice new people.
The weekend was a course and I came away thinking how badly it was run and how I could do better - that's kind of a motivating feeling.
Done lots of writing this morning so I'm actually getting creative things done instead of being pathetic!
What are you up to?0 -
Hello Doingitanyway!
You sound happy today!
I think I'm happy too - just managed to finish a chapter, have some ideas for contacts and things to follow up and have got a couple of free / bargain membership deals on internet dating sites (there's another thread I'm subscribed to about this!) Off to Ikea now with my housemate for a bit then dinner with a friend tonight. I'm cooking at her house ... she's quite well off and has extravagant tastes and I can't keep up with her financially if we go out to a restaurant so me bringing the food and cooking and her buying the wine is an ideal option!
And it's sunny .... life doesn't get much better than this! x0 -
We still have Virgin but we cut the TV - it's complicated! We can't really switch from Virgin for broadband and phoone. Long dull story!
I think that's a good plan. I'm only happy when I'm being creative too and feeling fulfilled from that but sometimes it's difficult to keep going - to keep motivated. Specially when being creative involves working at home on your own all day!
Getting out and meeting people is really important for me at the moment - I'm sick of being single - but it's quite a good challenge to do it without spending too much cash!0
