Hello,
There was no more, just the text that i have copied over directly.
It came through on last weeks (12th Oct) 'Raspberry Ripple' which is the weekly newsletter produced for Leaders in LaSER (London & South East Region).:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
Just had a quick thoughts about uniforms too.
Whilst browsing Freecycle to give away my table & chairs I noticed 'Wanted' and 'Offered' ads for uniforms so it could be a very MSE place to look!:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
I've tried to get in touch with my local Freecycle, but no reply to the emails that I have sent. I just can't sign up for some reason - it won't let me.0

If anybody has any other questions, please feel free to ask and those of us on here who are leaders will try our best to help.:jBaby Boy born December 20120

I'm a new Rainbow Leader soon-to-be-in-training (starting my leadership qualification soon) after returning to Guiding for the first time since 1994 (when I was a Guide)!
I'm absolutely loving it so far and would encourage anyone wanting a new, fun hobby to consider volunteering. If you love spending time with children and having fun it really can't be beaten!0 -

My DD has just turned 14 and is now in senior section. She has been helping every week at Rainbows since she was 12. It will help her towards her Duke of Ed award and as she would like to teach early years in primary school, it will also look good on her CV. But most of all she LOVES helping at Rainbows and spending time with the younger children!
She is starting to help with the planning and if anyone has any good activities to share, I would be pleased to pass them on to her.0 -
My little girl has just started Rainbows. She loves it - as I loved Brownies many years ago. My only issue is the cost of the uniform. It used to cost about £7 for a rainbows' tabard. Now it's nearly £50 for the uniform. I know there are grants available for those who cannot afford it, but even coming from a family with a reasonable income, £50 is a lot of money. I wish they could go back to the simple tabards and make the organisation more inclusive - as it was originally intended to be. ....sorry for the rant!0
