What I don't understand about the American Gangster screening is, that all new codes seem to be for the same day in the same cinemas as before, so what is the point in See Film First giving out new codes for screenings that have been full for a week already? At least the Elizabeth screenings were on at different dates.
    Reclaimed thanks to this site:

The way I think it works is that each SeeFilmFirst code is for a set amount of tickets. e.g. each mag/website has maybe 10 or 20 tickets to give away. So when, like with American Gangster (which I still haven't managed to get) there's 4 codes they probably all add up to the total ticket allowance at the end.
Does that make sense? I've kinda lost myself now...

That's how it works, and when you take into consideration some of the screens used (such as Panton St) only hold over 100 folk the tickets go very quickly.

On mentioning Panton St, I don't think I've been in a worse or dingier cinema since the 80's, I never bother with the screenings there.
