I remember the first time I saw Kill Bill in the cinema and he bleeps the brides name, everyone thought it was a cinema error and started whispering "what was the name??" etc...Sometimes you get what you deserve... :cool2:0

Just came back from Vue Portsmouth. Went to see Michael Clayton through screenbookings.com (The times). Put a lot of effort in getting there in time only to find out that it is not showing today but is planned for tomorrow. Just double checked the date on their website and it's supposed to be today.
Anyone else had the same problem?0 -

I am a projectioinist. I can tell you that this film took me back to my early days in the cinema industry.
Ahhh! those late night shows.
Films in pieces. Many splices(joins). Had 125 in a late show of Dirty Harry once.
Chinagraph marks just where the change over dots are (those black dots in the top righthand corner. )
Damaged titles.
And those old tacky logos, Our Feature Presentation'
This film gives me moist tears to my eyes of the old days. When it was not all about Popcorn and Drinks sales.
One good thing though, I i have an 'accident' with the film, I will only improve the image.:rotfl: :rotfl:The more I live, the more I learn.
The more I learn, the more I grow.
The more I grow, the more I see.

Hi
I saw a post recently, some newbie like myself that hasn't yet managed to get any free tickets & hasn't received any e mails with codes from seefilmfirst.
After reading this I checked my details with seefilmfirst, I went on edit details, to find that I hadn't ticked the box at the very bottom, which said:
I do want to receive further information from SFF (and selected partners) (NOTE: If you do not choose to receive information, we cannot send you invites to screenings)
So I thought that maybe other newbies might have had the same blonde moment as myself, so thought it might be worth a mention.0 -

Went to the Vue screening of Michael Clayton last night. What an excellent film, and it was a full house.
I saw it in Croydon, it was full, but there was a few spare seats dotted around.
I enjoyed it, but I felt they could've gone a little deeper into the story. George Clooney was excellent though.Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0 -
