I have just managed to get tickets for Hot Fuzz in MANCHESTER on Thurs .... if anyone couldnt get any then retry SeeFilmFirst...u might be in luck

i have been watching the fres cinema ticket thread for ages waiting for tickets for VUE as its the only one near me in inverness. can anyone tell me if there are ever free ones for here??? i have not seen any yet thanks very much x

To aliwatts and everyone else who was telling me off for not being nice and kind and pink and fluffy enough to people who are just plain stupid enough to post non-offers in the offer thread, i would like to refer you to angelundercover's post on the last page of the free tickets thread. AngelUndercover, you are my hero Hopefully aliwatts and others will find that the large red writing helps them to understand.

I did make a mistake... due to me being off here for a while and usually post from work.... so my eye isnt always 100% on here.

I now have learnt. anyway you can sticky the 2 next to each other? as when they get split up its hard to match them up?

just discussed that very idea with Heatherw (ty for keeping our Free Cinema Tickets thread clean,heather!!!) but frankly there are already a lot of sticky's on this page so it just isn't practical (and Manc - your rep precedes you seen ya on HDUK )

Crikey, what have I missed. I logged on 1st thing this am to the ticket site and saw the e-mail reiterating what i'd posted yesterday so I just PMd the poster and did likewise to the person who asked if anyone had used the offer.

I log back in at lunch and WWIII has taken place and all the evidence has been removed so I've no idea what the palaver actually was!

Anyway seems it's all resolved now and we can all go back to being cheery chums.

It is irritating (but not life threatening) to get nonsense posts on the ticket site so maybe we could use the Personal Messges (PM) politely to get things back in order?

Agreed. 95% of postings on the wrong thread just get calmly deleted.

Noone would think it was ok if people kept posting the ticket offers on the credit card or mobile phone boards, or information about credit cards or mobile phones on this thread. It's not hard to put your post in the right place.

the reason i only have a few posts is because i only post when i have something useful to say

if you're going to get competitive aobut it, it looks like i've been more useful in my few posts than you have in your many.
