Kwik-Fit. And whilst you're there get them to check the engine oil level. They will do a free top up up to 1 litre. :D
  • Its worth mentioning that Kwik-Fit hold the contract for all Motability Scheme vehicles, providing tyres, and puncture repairs.

I suspect they have had to clean up their act because if they were taking advantage of vulnerable people, or the Motability Scheme, they wouldn't hold the contract for very long. You can just imagine the Media reaction and the impact on their business if they did.

As a Disabled Motorist I recently had a slow puncture on my Motability Scheme Car, which does not have a spare tyre (has one of those aerosols), so took it to Kwik Fit. They were busy but fixed the repair within minutes, and I didn't have to sign anything, or pay for anything. Had they fitted four new tyres I have no control over whether they wanted to, and would still have nothing to pay, and nothing to sign, but they did an honest repair, so I can't fault them.
  • i'll phone up national tyres see how much it is to have balanced aswell

The balancing should be done as part of the cost. It certainly was when I had a puncture repair done at Kwik-Fit.
  • well it does say on the vouxher extra charge for balancing so i suppose i cant argue about that

Out of the normal tenner or so, about 3 to 5 is the puncture repair, then the rest is the new valve and balancing, so around a fiver or so would be expected.
