Hello,
I installed my cable and wireless 802.11g wireless lan adsl2+ modem router and I've managed to get it working safely I think, however I'm not 100% sure about how safe it is. I've enabled wpa2-psk, and from time to time it keeps coming up with a bubble saying wireless network connected (but says its insecure, which is what worries me) then when I right click on the wireless icon, and select view available networks it says its secure, so is it or isn't it?

Pretty sure, it's connecting to the name I entered.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -
So have you checked to see what other wireless channels are in use in your locality? You may have to change to another channel to avoid interference because most users tend to leave them on the default channel. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Ok that sounds good, I haven't no. The thing just keeps disconnecting and then reconnecting, which is really annoying whilst trying to browse, how do I check/change the channel?{Signature removed by Forum Team}0
