Is it still possible to send FREE SMS Text Messages from my PC to mobile phones? And can SMS Text Messages be returned from mobile phones to my PC? If so, guidance invited please.

cbfsms.com sounds great in theory ... but it is perpetually "Unavailable" for sending Free texts. This wastes so much time, preparing the text and then finding that the transmission fails. Soooo frustrating. Perhaps it's better just to pay the standard price of texts from a mobile phone !!

You are able to register on the o2 website for 10 free text messages per month,

Orange give you 30 free texts if you are a customer with them you have just go to register.

The smart thing to do is to regester all the free sims you get from o2. If you dont know how to get them see the Freebies board.

I'm a new forum member, registered specifically to try to get free worldwide sms after the profit-seeking withdrawal of Tiscali's previously invaluable service. Have had a look at some of the suggestions, but am still wary of most because of reliability, advertising, spam and amateurism issues. Any further suggestions for a really reliable service that will provide up to about ten free sms's WORLDWIDE per day? Thanks
