See you removed your "this is the bottom for houses prices" prediction!
It was not a prediction you fool but a fact - a fact that still exists today. The reason I removed it is because I ain't been around for so long and couldn't be arsed to update it.0 -
The Best bit is I put a valid reason and no one has seen it.:D0

If you called the bottom correctly, why would you need to update it!?
jesus your still hard work Graham! I had the last few monthly nationwide figures to show the growth since feb 2009.
And I still can't see prices going below the lows of feb 2009 - which is a shame because my position has now changed - I have recently sold my house and banked the money and am renting (due to a job relocation) so further falls are now in my interest for when I buy again.0 -
Congrats to pimp for prompting such fascinating and interesting discussion.0

Cash sales & new builds perhaps as both are not in the LR data.
Also, all of the data is not available - there is a time lag for a lot of sales and subsequent registration with the LR. The figures will be continually updated as they get new data in.
It would be interesting to see what the actual figure for August is in November or December when most of the sales should have been registered.0 -
