Afternoon, what a lovely day!
Been to work this morning after taking the girls to school and had a quiet morning really.
Just got back in and have a few jobs to do, dusting, hooovering etc. Very pleased to say i have no washing or ironing to do...hoorah! Ok so I know it won't last long but I'm going to enjoy it for today.
Downside is I have put about 5lbs on over the past couple of weeks and am really disappointed in myself as I have lost several stone and still my old habit s come back to bite me on the butt...so trying my hardest to get back to it today but can't help feeling really low about it all.
Oh well better go grab the hoover and get moving.Grocery Challenge 112.20/250.00

I agree with what Bitsy says and remember that we all have things that we keep secret. What I would say is not to feel isolated as we are on your side xx
Bargain Bird - lovely to hear your news:T:T
Well I am getting the washing done and on the line as the weather is wonderful. Not much else happening but Im ok with that xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Evening all,
What a gorgeous day we've been having.DH has been trying to have some time off,so far he's managed Monday afternoon when we went to visit newDGD,and this afternoon,so we went for a drive into the Lancashire hills and had lunch sat outside a pub in Waddington, which is a beautiful village with a stream running through the centre. We dont get out enough on our own, really should do it more often and we really enjoyed it.I did all the housework before we went ,washing on the line etc and we dont need any tea,we're still full
.
Thanks for all the congrats on DGD birth,it is magic you're all so right, and JackieO you've just made me fill up reading your postabout your grandchildren:o(sorry about your sad news) I'm having withdrawals as we've not seen her today, but her Mum needs a rest.
DS1 is back off hol later tonight,so either his dad or bro will pick him up from Manchester airport-we've been tidy while he's been away,so we'll see how long it lasts.
Bargainbird,glad to see you,and feeling a bit better .

Evening all
Lou - I echo what everyone else has said. Share what you want to, none of us will judge, and a problem shared is a problem solved and all that! I tell you guys a lot more than I tell friends in RL in some aspects of my life, less in others, but I think that's the same with any friends you have.
Good day for me. Morning at work, finally finished assessing my kids portfolios! On way to uni I popped to car garage where I bought Bruce from cos the electric wing mirrors weren't working. The guy changed the fuse there and then and they are working now
Uni was good fun. We have a massive group project to work on this year (building a whole curriculm for a course!!) and started it today. Lecturer said our idea is really good and we have prepared way more than the other groups
Popped to Asda on way to uni and managed to get some YS bargains including a pack of stir fry veg for 25p, so had that for tea.
Night all

Hi flutterbyuk. He is doing really well.He moved in last sat , He is at Swansea Metropolitain Uni, halls are onTownhill Road.
He got very homesick the first night but seems to have settled down nicely now.He phones me every morning at the moment and every night with half a dozen txt in between He went of into town today and found a cheap shop (not sure what one) and phoned me to tell me I would love it there :rotfl::rotfl:.
As for dd. She came and spent sunday afternoon with us , was lovely to see her but I know it sounds horrible but was nicer when she went back to her dads:o;).She is not ready to come home atm she says .So still dolly steps there.
