Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System for £1.99 at Tesco

Oh no, don't tell me we are going to have another thread about the
pros and cons of this. The old one has finally died.
Scents, not flavours. I think you will be wanting your money back if you try to eat it.SEL on these are £9.99 at my Tesco but are scanning at £4.99 (both flavours).
It isn't neccessary to use a syringe if you have any arm strength. Like the previous poster said, just use a spoon or letter opener and gently wedge each side loose. It pops off within 30 seconds.0 -

I understand. Thank you for pointing this out.
 Mmmmmm Dettol handwash :drool:0 -
But it doesn't matter if there are germs on the lid, as every time you're pressing the lid (thus touching it) you are washing your hands and getting rid of the germs anyway. And i don't buy the "push on the pump too hard" argument either...well unless you are Kryptonian and don't know you're own strength. Eeekkk does it have a label stating, made by virgin hands too?!0

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the germ thing is a big deal, but surely there are times when you could touch the soap bottle because you need to move it, or lean over or your sleeve could touch it, or move it to clean underneath it, when you are not washing your hands? It might not be all that much more hygienic, but surely it must be a bit more hygienic just for that reason. So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

Tesco has both silver and white dispensers marked at half price in Talbot Green store. The white were on the shelf with the other hand washes and the silver was with the white dispensers on an end aisle shelf nearby. I also use a butter knife to prize off the lid. Thanks OP.0

They are also on offer for 2 for £5.
After seeing your comment I looked in my Poundstretcher by they are £4.99 in there too0 -
I'm with you on not wanting to transfer germs to the soap dispenser after I've been handling something like raw chicken. Although your hands end up clean after you've washed them, I don't like the idea of having left germs on the dispenser, particularly as they breed
I appreciate the argument for not living in an overly sanitised environment but the dangers of salmonella are not to be sniffed at.0 -

I'm sorry Bookworm, I hope you didn't have to go out of your way. I went back today and had another look, it was the refills that were £2.99, but the price ticket was infront of the dispensers, so I (wrongly) assumed they were £2.99. They didn't actually have any of the refills on the shelf, just the price tag for them. Got them to check and the dispensers were actually £5.99 in there.
