Vodaphone change of number needed

Can anyone me if i can change my telephone number during a contract with Vodafone? I know that in a couple of days I am going to get loads of unwanted phonecalls and this will go on for a long time. They are not calls i can actually call the police about as per nuisance calls. I am about 6 months in to a 2 year contract.

Might be network dependent but if you get a new number on pay and go with another network, then it might be possible to port that over in mid contract - check with vodafone.
Why not just bar the nuisance calls using a decent phone.

I remember someone posted here recently that they just asked the network to change the number and had it changed.

You can easily get your number changed by calling Customer Care. There will be a charge of £25 for the number change.

A quick turn off and on and you should have the new number.

When you change your number, your account will be reset and you will be on pro rata until your next billing date and be charged one months line rental in advance. You will also see a credit on your bill for line rental paid in advance for your old number.
