    Have you got Palemoon

" Why settle for a basic build of your Firefox browser on Windows Operating Systems when you can have one that is specifically made for getting the most out of your system? Mozilla does not provide optimized browser packages for Windows, meaning you may be losing speed and efficiency when you use your browser; and truth be told, most people use their browsers all the time! That needs to change, so, here is the Pale Moon project: Custom-built and optimized Firefox browsers for Windows Operating Systems. Make sure to get the most speed and efficiency out of your browser! I've been on Pale Moon for about a week and it feels even quicker than Firefox. Well impressed, even more so with the portable version.
But than I've never noticed any memory problems with Firefox, 4GB ram takes care of that as a previous poster stated. Just updated Firefox,(7.01) Adblock Plus, NoScript, ie Tab2, Forecastfox etc all working on both browsers.

Also installed the Pale Moon by Moonchild persona,

    Move along, nothing to see.

Having just tried it, I am getting the same occasional 100% CPU usage for up to a minute as with Firefox.....and I have seen this continue even after I have closed all windows and there is supposedly no application running!

    Someone used this

    http://flashblock.mozdev.org/index.html

Someone disabled the plug in container

    Someone created a new profile

Looking through the posts, if it happens with one browser, it is likely to happen with all of them
