ebay buyer dispute

I am sorry for the hassle you had, but glad you got the item back in the end! Can you not reply to the feedback sent? In the past I'm sure there was an option.Surprise,surprise! We received a parcel today, it was my son's subwoofer, exactly as we sent it in as new condition! (apart from some of the packaging missing). I just wonder what he sent to the buyer of the other item he sold, when he copied my son's listing and pictures. I'm sure there's some sort of fiddle going on here, can't work out what.
Anyway the upshot of all this is;
we now have the original item back(didn't really want it, my son is in Majorca at the mo, that's why I've ended up dealing with it, this was supposed to be towards his spending money)
the buyer got a full refund by lying about the condition of the item
we are £15 (postage) down, on the bright side so too is the buyer!
the buyer copied my sons listing and pictures to sell another item(although the buyer of that did not get the item in the pics 'cos we have it)
my son has negative feedback stating "FRAUDULENT SELLER" in capital letters. This isn't helping him sell his moped which is on ebay at the mo. (had plenty of calls and emails from overseas wanting to pay over the odds with paypal and send a courier tho!)
ebay rightly push the buyer protection thing, but where is the seller protection?
Thanks for all your replies.Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me
