Take a picture of the packet on the scales BEFORE you open it and after.
The postie will have to wait...
Oh really? Camera, scales and a postie parked in your hallway?

Today we received a copy of an email from ebay to the buyer to say that as the package has been, or is about to be delivered that a refund is being issued.
A copy huh?! lol clearly it wasn't from ebay!
The buyer is winding you up, so just ignore it!
The buyer needs to return it tracked to get his refund. If he's re-sold it, then he can't return it.
I'd just give ebay a ring to tell them that the buyer can't return it as he's already re-sold it.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Surprise, surprise! We received a parcel today, it was my son's subwoofer, exactly as we sent it in as new condition! (apart from some of the packaging missing). I just wonder what he sent to the buyer of the other item he sold, when he copied my son's listing and pictures. I'm sure there's some sort of fiddle going on here, can't work out what.
Anyway the upshot of all this is;
we now have the original item back(didn't really want it, my son is in Majorca at the mo, that's why I've ended up dealing with it, this was supposed to be towards his spending money)
the buyer got a full refund by lying about the condition of the item
we are £15 (postage) down, on the bright side so too is the buyer!
the buyer copied my sons listing and pictures to sell another item(although the buyer of that did not get the item in the pics 'cos we have it)
my son has negative feedback stating "FRAUDULENT SELLER" in capital letters. This isn't helping him sell his moped which is on ebay at the mo. (had plenty of calls and emails from overseas wanting to pay over the odds with paypal and send a courier tho!)
ebay rightly push the buyer protection thing, but where is the seller protection?
Thanks for all your replies.0 -
Great you got it back!0

He'll put the tracking number of your return in when the new buyer claims item not received on his sale.0

That's great you got it back. I would send the buyer a polite feedback revision request and see if they are prepared to change what they wrote. If they won't change I would put a message under their feedback saying: Buyer requested a mutual cancelation, whilst item was in transit to him. 2 days later buyer opened a SNAD case and received full refund.0

It's dangerous to mention disputes in feedback or responses - they can be removed and it's better to play safe with exactly what they mean by that policy.
I would also not send the revision request directly; only send it when you are sure he will respond favourably."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

You also paid way over the odds for your postage. Courier next time.0

Just respond to the neg saying "sorry you didn't want the item any more. full refund already issued". It hopefully shouldn't put too many people off bidding on any other items!
Anyone that leaves a neg in capital letters just comes across as a pain in the a**!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

I would contact the other buyer and ask about their experience with this ebayer.0
