can you migrate from UKONLINE to AOL?

Hi
My brother was having endless problem with UKONLINE with not getting any BB services most of time from 4pm tp about 12pm... if i did connect it would be for a shortwhile..
ANyway after few weeks of getting mac code and trying to join AOL, been told by AOL to cancel the service with UKONLINE first because they are getting incompitable service, so they are not getting opition to use the MAC code.
Has anyone moved using MAC code to AOL from UKONLINE or to another ISP from UKONLINE
