Printing posters

Please can anyone advise how I can print font sizes up to 60mm high & bigger?

Thanks

  • Little bit puzzled by the question... I'm guessing that in your software you have a maximum point size the fonts will go to and then when you print it, that's not big enough?

In some programs, you get a drop down list to choose the point size but if you actually type into the point size box itself you can over-ride - so if 72 is the biggest then just put a 1 in front then tab out of the field

Other options might be to design the poster (e.g. as A5 if you want A4) then print at greater than 100% size so it all scales up?

Or, instead of using an office program like Word, use a graphics program like Photoshop - so you end up printing an image on A4 @ 100% which contains the text, rather than a document?
