I paid this willingly but feel I have been bloodsucked by BT!
My Line Rental was, as usual, for all the years I have loyally paid upfront Line Rental right up to May 2015.
They refuse to even refund part of this payment . They have no loyalty to loyal customers , only value new captures.0 -

BT Line rental saver has always been non refundable if you cancel before it ends. It clearly states in the terms and conditions.0 -

After 2 weeks of no access to my bt, I got a phone call from someone from India who I gave remote access to my computer and he didn't have a clue how to get my problem resolved. I still cannot view my bill or get past step 3 on bt id. He said he would refer my problem to the email department!!! Passed the buck. Pointless waste of time of a company. :mad:0 -

Hello
I did explain to BT a number of times that this is the extra charge for the service that
1. I did not order (i did explain when i m leaving the property yet they charged me for the part that i was not there)
2. The service that it covered was NOT working - as i visited the property several times and net was not working.
Despite explaining this they did not listen and kept harassing me and also now added 25%
I will contact customer services and ask for removing the fee as again i believe it is not only unfair but against any norma of customer service.
kind regards
m szymczyk

Hello Miss Maria Szymczyk
We've passed your debt of £64.96 to a collection agency.
We've sent you several reminders but you still haven't paid us what you owe. So we've now passed your debt to Collect Direct UK Ltd, an authorised debt collection agency, to get in touch with you about paying it off.
We've also added a charge of 25%, included in the outstanding balance above, to cover the cost of us handing over the debt.
If you want to stop this going any further:
visit to make a payment, or set-up regular payments (you'll need your BT account number which you can find on your bill or any reminder letters), or
call 0844 701 6156 to make a payment, or to talk about your financial circumstances and agree what you can afford to pay regularly until you settle your debt, or
contact the agency by email through [/email]admin@collectd.co.uk or write to them at Jason House, Kerry Hill, Horsforth, Leeds LS18 4JR
If you don't pay, or make an arrangement to pay what you owe over time, we might recommend legal action to recover your debt. Legal action would mean extra costs to you, and might affect your credit rating.
If you've paid us in the last few days, you can ignore this email.
Thanks,
Libby Barr

sucess, B,T have finally phoned me regarding my complaints, with, broadband and BT sport issues. also bill now corrected, several phone calls hours spent on the phone, hopefully now resolved,0

I don't know if it was thanks to bt representive on this forum or not but I finally got my problems resolved after a month of stress. I had 8 phone calls, 25 emails, remote access to my laptop, and some lady called Ruby Chandran fixed it with a couple of email conversations. When BT start charging for bt sports next year, I will most definitely be changing to sky. What an eye opener that was after 20 years service with BT!0

Forgot to mention, for the last 4 weeks having major problems with drop outs on broadband as well. After major hassle with BT ID and no bt sport on ipad, not being able to view my bill, I'm not even going to contact bt about this, after the hassle I've had. My daughter gets very annoyed when on xbox live talking to friends and it cuts off. The 3 lights go off on broadband router and after about 2 minutes they come back on 1 by 1. This happens at various times every day. After free bt sports ends next year, I am sure I will be 1 of many who will leave this poor service.0

I have just called BT and never been so appalled.
For the last two years I have had BT broadband and Phone with no issues whatsoever. However in Mid July I decided to take BT TV as well for an extra £7 a month and a £35 activation charge. I was told this would be delivered on the 31st July between 7-6pm (In itself is crazy)
When this did not turn up I was told my address did not exist (Bearing in mind they have billed and delivered my internet for the last 2 years ago at the same address)
This went on for 9 days until the box finally turned up. Causing me several days of staying in on re arranged days off/holiday etc. Calling BT every day advising it was not delivered they advised the £35 will not be charged as gesture of good will. Only to find today the money has been debited (SHOCKER). Called them to be accused of lieing about it.
Anyone with any tips?0
