LPG cooker problem

We have an LPG cooker with electric ovens. Yesterday we noticed that the burners were taking along time to cook anything. If all the burners were lit there was hardly any flame, if only one burner was lit it was abit higher but still took ages to cook anything. We assumed that the gas bottle must want changing so went to buy another, however, we were not expecting the bottle to need changing as we only bought one in March and it usually last us 12 months. OH put on the new bottle, however the flame still seems very low.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem maybe?

You need an LPG registered gas safe RGI to adjust the working pressure and check things over.

Maybe the regulator has died or is dying....

What colour are the bottles? Does the problem get worse when the outside temperature is low?

The bottles are RED, we use butane. No its not affected by the temperature.

Thanks. OH will get a new regulator and see if that makes any difference.

Red is propane.

Butane wouldn't work in winter:)
