Awaiting ppi payment

got my letter on august 8 saying 21 days for settlement , still waiting, fobbed off , told them if i dont get this money soon mu mum will have to go into a home as i was using it to put in a stairlift etc but just apologised and said dont know how much longer, also said they would send cheque for interest and bank transfer for payments so am confused now even more .0

If your claim was throught the fos I would give them a call to chase up and say you want the extra interest up to the date the cheque is ISSUED not the date the settlement was agreed.
If just dealing with them direct I would write and state you expect the extra interest.
You might just get a bit extra cash.
