Nothing big but if you see the Heinz First Steps (6 small chocolate chip cookies) for aged 1 - 3 years on the RTC shelf marked as 14p but went through as 59p. My first ever DTD. I would never have paid the original 59p though.

I went to T's at 1pm today and something weird happened so , I'm just going to let y'all know.

I was being helped at the SS till by a helper when a trout came up to her and said:

'There's a problem with SS till no. **, the sweets are scanning at £4.50 and 1p'

I slowed down and looked about and from what I could see and hear, it appeared that for some reason, one of the big tubs of £4.50 sweets scanned at 1p. A trail (or should that be shoal) of CS trouts were taking 2 different tubs to CS to scan them to see what was going on. The tubs were celebrations, heroes, roses etc. It could have been the till, the store, maybe 2 tubs in combo does something. Please don't make a special trip as I can't confirm what the glitch was if any. Don't thank me unlees something good comes of it

Oh my goodness, that sounds very interesting! A few would be great for our Christmas fair at school! (and perhaps a few for Christmas pressies!) were they the tall old fashioned sweet shop type tubs? (not the flat tins) Wish we had a self scanner in our tesco...mind you every shop has probably had a memo to do stakeouts at self scans just to identify us, as there seems to be a lot of reports of security guards following people round who use self scanners. Im paranoid enough without that!

Just back from T**nt*n store and for anyone thats interested they have four of the knife block sets with three for two stickers on, the box at the front is damaged but the three in behind are all good and all have a small 3for2 sticker on them. Didn't get them as don't need them.

No beans or mince pies - out of stock, but i did manage to get my DD ten pairs of fashion tights at 4p each, saved me a small fortune as she goes through them like a fart in a colander!!

I contacted HO about my DTD the other day - ref not getting it just the amount i spent back and product free, and they have said they will put a gift card in the post to me for the £20 i was short, so obviously SA was trying it on.

Took a quick fly round T on my way to work this morning for the beans, toms & crisps - as I know from past experience that leaving good offers like that till later in the day means empty shelves lol!!

So got the above, and also 2 packs of the 4+2 plenty, and also the giant 24 pack of cushelle for £8. :)

And.... a BIG BIG THANK YOU to FrenchKnickers for the heads up on the Sabbatier knives - one lonely box on a random shelf with no sel :T:T
