  • . Stuff the security guard..........in fact why not go in a super short skirt, or super low cut top and/or pass him a few firtive glances to try to unnerve him the way he is doing to you. Play fire with fire.

Ha ha.. if i wasnt 32 weeks pregnant.. then that is EXACTLY what i would do!!!!! dont think it would have the same effect ATM.. haha.

i do sometimes use my clubcard (still only a Temp one though.. still not got round to registering it after 6 months!!! lol) . so its not registered to my name/address etc... and always pay by cash. - but i woulnt have thought that using that would make a differnce as i dont do anything in thats store really... just scan things in the hope of finding something.. but never usually do TBH in that paticular store.... just go there to do my research as that one has a scanner. :)

  • Of course. They were navy blue with no back and white/silver (depending on your eyesight) stitching on them. Too tired to go look now, but think original price was £6.

    Does that help?

I've tried to 'scan' through and catch up,but so many days to catch up on its almost impossible. :)

I thought I'd 'scanned' through quite well, but obviously not :o:) and that took me long enough, hence while I'm still up (well just! :))

Surely there is some sort of 'code of conduct' though...?? when they are literally no further that a few feet away from you at all times 'pretending' to tidy a shelf up... when its clearly not their job etc.... when they follow you to the tills and then stand right behind you and watch what i have purchased... basically looking over my shoulder...??? it isnt a nice experience.

im guessing from your name, that you work for Tescos, so was hoping you may have some constructive advice please... rather than just stating that 'Tescos couldnt care less...' - i have never aroused any suspicion at allk... in fact, i probably go as far as being extra carefdull not to arouse suspicion as they follow me.... which has been going on for a few months now... and i have NEVER given them any reason to believe i have shoplifted etc... surely it would be more beneficial to follow someone else, rather than me every day?? -
i wouldnt even say i dress in a bad/stereotypical way to attract attention to myself... just look like a mum doing her normal shop... which i am>!!![/QUOTgE]

what their doing is totally unfair and very intimidating. If it was me I would go into the store with OH/DH and when the security started to follow me I would carry on walking but get OH/DH to stop, then either
    1. Confront the security guard with something along the lines of telling him to stop eyeing you up/ogling you, implying that the security guard is following you for other reasons, or
    2. Get them to start following the security guard whilst they are following you, or
    3. Do both, you OH/DH will have good reason to confront them if he follows them following you (if you get what i mean).

In the absence of a willing OH/DH, a fiesty friend should do the trick.

If nothing else this will either embaress or distract the security guard and he might then know how it feels to be stalked:D

Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless :o

The reduced ones are in fact logitech but are as you described with a built in boom to speak into. :)

Actually I'd video it all if it was me. Dead easy to conceal a camera these days in a bag or tucked in a pocket. Get someone to record the lot, confront the manager with your evidence and tell him if it don't stop you'll be making it a police matter.

Only do this of course if you don't mind the storm you will create. Bottom line though is security guards cannot abuse their position and cannot intimidate you if you've done nothing wrong, its harrasment and could cost him his job.
