Night night to anyone left on here......
Happy hunting tomorrow.... I mean later today!
Who's looking in advance for the T's Tuesday glitches???
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Evening/Morning! So frustrating I never have enough time to thoroughly read the thread which always means I miss things:( Thank you as always to everyone posting their finds.
This week I managed to miss the smarties etc which is particularly annoying given my hourly chocolate consumption!!!! Will just have to muddle through with the remaining TCO's, my Kitkats/Toffee Crisp/Aeros from Mr M's (6 or 7 pack for £1) my impending delivery of Thorntons easter eggs and my sign up box for the Hotel Chocolat tasting club :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Managed to get 1 if the glass casserole dishes this week FINALLY!:T
Also timed it just right for fruit/veg whoopsies, plenty for us for the week for about £1!!! (Mango scanned at full price so DTD!)
Only 1 T's related find for me this week and not a glitch, just a bargain!
Tesco Ready to Eat stoned prunes 500g £1.64 3 for 2 (works out at 22p/100g compared to 32p/100g for value prunes) Just make sure you don't eat too many...unless you stocked up on the Andrex glitch!:rotfl:
Elsewhere....managed 2 lots of the spend £30 at Lidl and get Cushelle 24 pk for £4.99 this weekend. Pepsi and 7Up 2litre, as previously posted is still £1.57 bogof, valid til Wednesday. Ariel washing powder 42 wash is £5.99 (£10.21 in Mr T's)
And lastly Mr M's... Tetley teabags £2.64 for 240 (Be careful....in my store there is a 160 pack with 50% extra free so 240 bags BUT this is £3.88!!!!!)'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
still need to catch up... but thought i would post this first. spotted the moondough/sand construction set (small) scanned it and it said "please contact a member of staff". took it to CS for a price and the woman said that there had been a product recall on this product and she had to take them all off the shelf.
don't know if she was only saying that but if it is true, just wanted to let you know to be careful if you have bought one xHeart Diseased, Chronic Fatigued mum of 3 under 4!0 -

Basically, everytime i go to my local Extra Store.... i am followed... every single security guard knows me... prob from passing on info to 'watch that one'... but i have no idea why.????? - yeah, ok, i do use the self scanner quite a bit, but i have never stolen anything, or even remotely looked like i am being deceptive in any way...
BUT when the security guards are following me.... and they are SOOOOOO not descreet, and they know, that i know too... but they still do it...
its been going on for quite a while now, id say 2 months or so, EVERY time i go in there... i thought they would have got bored by now and realised that i am not actually stealing anything, but Nope... still follow me everywhere....
I feel like i am being harrassed TBH and it puts me off my stride.... ended up walking out of the store the other day without doing my grocey shop... and it makes me nrevous about visiting the store now... dont really like going there because of this.
Does anyone think i should speak to them when they follow me again? what should i say? or should i write a letter/ email to complain? or should i speak to the manager?
any advice is greatly apprichiated... xx0 -

Its a tricky one this is to be 100% honest with you.
Tesco are within their rights to ban or refuse to serve anyone they wish to without giving any reason. They own the land and are supplying a service so its up to them. It might not sound fair, but its how it is. I hate unfairness and really would want to kick it off, but the balls are sadly all in their court on this one.
You have not been banned so have clearly not p1ssed them off just yet, but you've done enough that they want to harrass you into not going there anymore, or at least putting the frighteners on you.
Do you have another store or two you can frequent instead? If you do then prudence (I'm sure some tw@ in government used to say that lol) would suggest you keep a low profile for a while.
Do you think they know who you are, ie by clubcard or by paying with CC or debit card? If not then carry on as you are but if glitching then always use cash and always use a manned till as you can never be accused of trying to deceive. Stuff the security guard..........in fact why not go in a super short skirt, or super low cut top and/or pass him a few firtive glances to try to unnerve him the way he is doing to you. Play fire with fire. There is one store (which i rarely use I might add as its one I pass while travelling) where the staff know who I am and what I do and have tried and failed time and tiem again to beat me at my game. I now walk into that store, stand still, look up at the main camera, give it a wave then gp shopping. I'm not suggesting you do this, but it gives you an idea of how to let it all become FUN instead of a problem to you.
Above all else, KEEP YOUR COOL, you are doing nothing illegal so nothing to worry about there. Everything else is just a game.........just use the force when playing young jedi!!!
Sorry for the ramble...its gone 1am and I'm still trying to drink down my DTD LaGioiosa wine lake!0 -

I did all the socks and untagged things first in 3 shops and got them tucked safely into the car. Then at 7 minutes to 4 I took 10 lounge sets and asked the SA if she minded on SS untagging them all. Her eyebrows shot up when she saw they were 4p. I said theres plenty more, be great for the kids I said.......and she tells me she can't get off the tills to get any money or to go and have a look and would I get her 4 large ones. I said my present to you for being nice and paid for them too! She protested but I said 16p was hardly going to break the bank and she was really really busy but was a complete star.
The lady who was looking after the clothes section was less than expressed and told me to get what I wanted now as she was taking them
off the shelves. I grabbed 3 more as it was 1 min to 4 but she was only aware of the lounge pants so I might pop in again tomorrow and see what else scans for 4p.
No photo as items all the items previously mentioned.
well done, and how nice of you.
could you give some details of the slippers please0 -
tescobabe69 wrote: »Tesco employees can go where they want in the store, obviously you have aroused suspicion. Ignore them, or shop elsewhere, Tesco couldnt care less where you shop.
Surely there is some sort of 'code of conduct' though...?? when they are literally no further that a few feet away from you at all times 'pretending' to tidy a shelf up... when its clearly not their job etc.... when they follow you to the tills and then stand right behind you and watch what i have purchased... basically looking over my shoulder...??? it isnt a nice experience.
im guessing from your name, that you work for Tescos, so was hoping you may have some constructive advice please... rather than just stating that 'Tescos couldnt care less...' - i have never aroused any suspicion at allk... in fact, i probably go as far as being extra carefull not to arouse suspicion as they follow me.... which has been going on for a few months now... and i have NEVER given them any reason to believe i have shoplifted etc... surely it would be more beneficial to follow someone else, rather than me every day?? -
i wouldnt even say i dress in a bad/stereotypical way to attract attention to myself... just look like a mum doing her normal shop... which i am>!!!Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

Of course. They were navy blue with no back and white/silver (depending on your eyesight) stitching on them. Too tired to go look now, but think original price was £6.
Does that help?0
