Profit:

=Price paid - ((Price paid - SEL price) * 2)
=34.99 - ((34.99 - 8) * 2)
=34.99 - (26.99 * 2)
=34.99 - 53.98
=-18.99

As long as the price paid was at least double what you should have paid then you break even or make profit.
