As most of you know I love a good "whoopsie";) Well last night in a T's that I don't often go to I noticed a man with 2 baskets full of joints of meat, all reduced to £1 or £2 and these were big joints. Green eyed monster kicked in and I felt more than a bit jealous;) Managed to get a few reduced bits and went over to the SA to pay. As she was chatting she said you've got a few good reduced bits, their's a man that comes in every night and gets all the reduced meat. I said yes I think I've just seen him. I then asked her what time they reduced their stuff down and she told me. So Watch out Mr Whoopsie Man, their's a new kid in town, have worked out I can sit in their Costa and have a clear view of the reduced section, so am staking it out tonight:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:God, I'm getting worse;)
On the contrary, glitching is part time for me, getting whoopsies (as asda call them) in Mr T's is my main past time! I can barely close my 2 freezers and my OH also has 2 freezers that are always rammed. I now share it around with friends and neighbours too which I think is good for karma.
Silly as it might sound, getting a few glitches or even flogging a few will not save you as much as you can save by buying your fruit, veg and meat, not to mention cakes and bread at fractions of what it should cost.
The thing is, you won't get banned for it, its not underhand and you are doing T's a favour as it impacts on their waste budget if it gets dumped. Everyone's a winner!0 -
I wouldnt mind but we do our main shop in Asda. I only go into Tesco so frequently because of this thread!!!!0

At last a brilliant Tesco day. (only one big store near me)
DTD on the Salter scales of £39.98
2 casserole dishes for 8p each.
5 packs of frozen Tesco finest pork sausage RTC 62p
I also saw a cheap MP3 player for £15 so asked a lovely male CA if they had any in stock. He went to look and came back to say they hadn't but would I be interested in a couple of clearance ones they had in the stores. One was £9-50 and one was £15, so I took both as I thought they would make nice xmas pressies for a couple of my loads of nieces and nephews. I have to say I don't know anything about mp3 players!
When I got home I checked up to see if I had got a bargain, and here is the result!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-NWZE453B-Walkman-Video-Clear/dp/B003V1YGLE
This cost me £9-50

This one cost me £15
Plus due to the extra cost on the Salter scales I spent over £50 and got a petrol voucher.
Happy days!:D:DN1LDA:D0 -

If you pick up the whoopsied items 1/2 hour before they do the final reduction put them in your trolly and have a wonder round. Go back in time to get all those items reduced again so you can get what you want before he does IYKWIMYou have to loose sight of the shore sometimes to cross new oceans.0 -
Squigs - I feel an equal amount of happiness and jealousy for you right now!!!0
