hello everyone
was going to be sending off endless job applications and CVs but now I have no motivation to do so as I just got a call about another possible job however I'm not as far as confirmed interview yet... BUT this would be really the best one so far! I hope you're all right about karma and fate etc. and this is something that was waiting there for me...I am an optimist and I always get too excited probably but I can't help it... my hopes are so up now again...
anyway, I'll keep you updated!
No T for me today I decided unless there is something major...Can't be bothered to go and try for the wine again... but from what I've seen in that store I can return in a week or so and it will be there still
Our LL got us a new dining set as the other table was very wobbly(I probably mentioned it already) and today someone picked up the old one so I have all the space in the dining/living room again(to store T goodies LOL)... It's great because we have the first housewarming party this weekend and I really didn't want to have two dining sets still here...
The flat will be all ready after my Ikea trip on the 31st :j And the floor will be done at the beginning of next month so that's excellent too :j
I couldn't sleep last night because of the job hunting and even started to think about setting up my own business... I'll get back to this in case things don't move but it might be impossible(well I love a challenge but need to be realistic sometimes...)
But I'm sure MSE will be a great help if I decide to give it a try :T
and no, it wouldn't be a mini T store :rotfl:
Ok, now it's getting too long so I'll pop back later
Have a nice day...0 -
Afternoon everyone, I have a question about OOD SEL's, I have been after 2 of the oral b toothbrushed Tesco originally had on offer for £10 then they changed to half price £17.50. So I have been waiting patiently for the offer of half price to expire which it did yesterday. Today I went and founf the OOD SEL's and quite a few toothbrushes left. So I picked the ones I wanted and went off to the checkout, they went through at £17.50 so no DTD sadly.
Can I return them? £17.50 is still quite good but since I know they have had them at £10 I don't feel it's much of a bargain. How long do OOD's take to kick in? Was I just too quick and the system hadn't updated? TIA0 -
probably they extended the offer on toothbrushes... you can return them0

Just checked on line and the toothbrushes have been put on offer again this time finishing on the 15th November .Never pay more than you have too0

one more reason to go to a Tesco?

Forgot to mention that I passed up a DTD yesterday. Found a Disney Cars pop up tent for my little man, SEL 7.50 - but scanned at £15.
I was happy to pay the 7.50, as I thought this was a good price, obviously DTD would've meant £15 back so free pop up tent.
But I'd had so many bargains yesterday, I thought I'd give karma a go. I found a CSA, told her that I knew about DTD, but had already self scanned and noticed the misprice. I said that I wouldn't claim the DTD but if she could adjust the price at the till, I was happy to pay the 7.50. She thanked me for being so honest and came to the till and adjusted it when it came up at 15.00.
This may have been a moments madness, it was late, I was tired and I probably shouldn't have passed up the dtd - but I'll go with the good karma and see what today brings.0
