Because I am as jammy as a jammy dodger!

I was considering going as far as London, but if you have the stores there covered, I'll stick to my bit! We went to Win*hester, An*over, B'mouth, P**le and all over the place, it was a right day out!

:eek:hope this wasn't just to find an 8p casserole dish!

Lol, nooooo - a car full of bargains!

But who am i kidding, probably would just for an 8p casserole dish :D
  • Missed out on the smarties yesterday - when I popped in to my express after work the shelves were bare, although it looked as though the stock had been removed by staff as there was paperwork beside it - I wouldn't care but I was there first thing in the morning getting my lunch whilst the staff were putting the new SELs out and never saw the smarties as they were on the end of the aisle :(
All was not totally lost, managed to get a couple of Medium Genuine Chamios Leather reduced from £3.60 odd to 87p BC 5051898326715

To be fair artha, if that's how the lady wishes to spend her time and petrol, not much we can do about it ;)

You know Lidl has an app on their website that allows you to plot all UK Lidl stores on your sat nav

Do you think it's worth writing to Tesco to ask them to do the same?
  • 8p casserole dishes in the one in stockprt yesterday got the last one couldnt find anything else but for my first try was happy :) so a big thank you xxxx

to be fair i think tesco customer service is top notch, when you call them on the phone. they have always sorted my problems out. eg i just returned a mobile i got 6 months ago no problem. also reading this thread they more than often come down on the side of the customer on the phone. so lets not mix this good service with the trouts in store of which i have had trouble with.

I quite agree... from reading on here it almost all are quite happy with Mr T's CS by telephone and email..... it's the instore CS they need to sort out.... a bit of basic training wouldn't go amiss!!!! I have dealt with both good and bad instore, and they are a real chalk and cheese comparison..... shouldn't ALL be behaving in the same way if trained from the same staff manual?????

thanks again you guys for all your support....I think with hindsight I got 'greedy' as I have used that store for weeks while the mega discounts were on, and got quite literally hundreds of £ worth of toys and electricals for pennies (think it worked out about £1422 for £101 spent!!)...so I'll consider myself very lucky on what I have got...and that its not a total ban on all Ts...well,I havent been to anny others yet so not sure if my picture has been spread around as 'Most Wanted' and its a worldwide ban!!! All in all its my own fault, due to getting carried away with the moment etc....we should all definately spread the glitches across multiple stores (unless you have nice SA's)....but its so hard when that particular store is soooo rubbish at updating SELs etc....you kid of feel obliged to show them the error of their ways!!

Anyway, I've managed to get half my house spotless so far this morning,so at least something good came out of it! And I did get 20 packs of smarties yesterday before all the drama....so at least the trick or treaters will be happy! ;)

I was reflecting on it all this morning whilst hoovering and thought when they accused me of actively searching for DTD...I should have replied with their slogan 'every little helps!'.....:)
I know from first hand experience what you are going through. Believe me within a few days you'll be laughing it off.

Never had to deal with CS so I've no personal experience in that area but the posts on this site suggest that they are always very helpful and resolve problems without fuss.

As far as the training manual, you can lead a horse to water but..etc
