My DH just called he was in h0meplus br1stol, he just got DTD on a £40 toaster (OOD sel) he was paid £4 to take it away
he also mentioned the bikes had OOD half price sels but he would have had to pick it up from the direct counter worth checking as some stores have the boxes in store.

Because I am as jammy as a jammy dodger!
I was considering going as far as London, but if you have the stores there covered, I'll stick to my bit! We went to Win*hester, An*over, B'mouth, P**le and all over the place, it was a right day out!0 -
sorry, forgot to say, Morning everyone :-)
Looby - sorry about yesterday, happy to hear you've taken it well (better than i would have done!). Tesco continue to take a hammering in the press at the minute, so it will only be a matter of time before DTD is quitely phased out and everyone starts shopping at Lidl.
Have you thought about writing to Philip Clarke and offering your services as a mystery shopper/SEL checker with a difference? I would love to be on a mystery shopping trip and get served by a trout...oh my gosh!
Talking of using disguises, I just opened my front door to the sweetest looking old lady, thought "there's no way she can be a scammer, she can barely stand upright". Turns out she's a Jehovah's Witness, the rest of her group were hid behind the hedge and practically jumped out once i had opened the door. I actually LOL'd when it happened! I can't believe I got caught out, best Trojan horse i've seen in ages!!0 -

thanks again you guys for all your support....I think with hindsight I got 'greedy' as I have used that store for weeks while the mega discounts were on, and got quite literally hundreds of £ worth of toys and electricals for pennies (think it worked out about £1422 for £101 spent!!)...so I'll consider myself very lucky on what I have got...and that its not a total ban on all Ts...well,I havent been to anny others yet so not sure if my picture has been spread around as 'Most Wanted' and its a worldwide ban!!! All in all its my own fault, due to getting carried away with the moment etc....we should all definately spread the glitches across multiple stores (unless you have nice SA's)....but its so hard when that particular store is soooo rubbish at updating SELs etc....you kid of feel obliged to show them the error of their ways!!
Anyway, I've managed to get half my house spotless so far this morning,so at least something good came out of it! And I did get 20 packs of smarties yesterday before all the drama....so at least the trick or treaters will be happy!
I was reflecting on it all this morning whilst hoovering and thought when they accused me of actively searching for DTD...I should have replied with their slogan 'every little helps!'.....:)hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
also...meant to say,as for going in disguise...I actuallly bought 2 of their halloween outfits reduced - do you think they will be ok!!
seriously though,if i tried that, knowing my luck,my wig/glasses etc would start to falloff in the excitement of getting another glitch...I'd look like Mrs Doubtfire at the end where shes half Mrs D and half dad!!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

to be fair i think tesco customer service is top notch, when you call them on the phone. they have always sorted my problems out. eg i just returned a mobile i got 6 months ago no problem. also reading this thread they more than often come down on the side of the customer on the phone. so lets not mix this good service with the trouts in store of which i have had trouble with.0
