Does anyone want to see the 20 pages of The Big List of offers ending tonight?
A quick look at Tesco website will show offers commencing tomorrow for possible overlaps??

Hi Jumblejack, just thought i would let you know there is a small superstore in ilfracombe - approx 5 miles from you, i don't get a lot from there but they do have at the moment pukka pads A4 and pukka pads project books also staedtler fine liners for £1, they did have some impulse the other day but didn't look for them yesterday.

If you want a plan of attack go to Ilfracombe first then on to Braunton approx 8 miles then to Barnstaple Taw View extra and then to Rose Lane Barnstaple - could be an idea for a day out for you seen as the weather today is pretty carp.

If you need any help give me a shout.

  • Morning peeps - been working over the weekend and I am trying once again to play catch up. Reading some of the stories has been so moving - having had a rough time myself over the last year or two I can truly sympathise.
Caz2703 - love your positive attitude and your refusal to let your OH and circumstances drag you down. Good luck hun.

Thank bensonsmum! Why oh why did I not mention this on Friday? I could have saved a fortune!!!!

I am sitting in the car at the mo (hubby's manual-I drive automatics!) waiting for the kids to finish swimming then we are having dinner and setting off home. Will get home for teatime approx.

(All the more bargains for you though?)

Boy do I miss my independance!

Can't wait to get a fix later.... :D

I feel so suspicitious staring at the SEL they are in tiny print & always feel I'm being watched  once finding one no problem asking for DTD

Find a store with a price check scanner and check your prices until you find a dtd, you couldn't look any more suspicious than the rest of us lol.

Being accused of that would really have got my back up I would have gone loopy, asked to speak to the manager and ask for the accusation to be backed up by CCTV or I would sue for deformation of character. I wonder how many others she has used that intimidation tactic on shameful.

Glad you got the last laugh :T

Must admit, I'd have been the same and got a "little";) bit cross. I have really learnt not to be intimidated by CS now. In fact it's probably not right but it's turned into a game now. Especially when the lady behind me at CS in a particular store said "If you're trying to get that DTD thing in here they won't give it to you" and my reply was "Just watch me!!" and I did get it,although it took 30 minutes and a few managers!! Just have'nt been back in there for a few months:)

If you look back at my post i have edited it to add the tiverton store with directions to get there - you near enough have to drive past it to get to the motorway so maybe worth a look - always could stop for a toilet break and to fill up on petrol before hitting the motorway.

Have a good day and if you head this way again give me a shout and i will be happy to have someone to go Tesco shopping with if your up for it.

    All the best xx

God do I get that! When I had my grand mal seizure I couldn't drive for a year! I felt trapped. I walked the 12 mile round trip to t a couple of times lol!

I love your lists and hunting the overlapping deals! It's more fun than a word search lol!
