Am heading now myself - but am not looking for a DTD - think I'd only do it if I needed the item or the DTD was alot - I don't fancy free phones lol !!!
Goodluck and happy shopping fellow MSE'ers

    Nooooooooooo!!!

You are entitled to a refund if you take them back too so its not free phones, its free MONEY! :D:D:D

I generally take them back to another store for the refund though. DTD is like margarine, spread it around nice and thin ;)

Hi all. I have missed a lot of chat here.
Ber limey, it is pricey in combe Martin!!!!

No tescos for 15 miles. Tiny convenience stores with prices that'd give you nightmares.

I am just so much in need of a glitch fix.

    Have I missed anything?

I will get back home tonight and will be straight off to Ts (I need milk....)

Has anyone done any 'market research' on The Big List I posted a few days ago?

    Any overlap glitches?

If actress was close then I'd go with TV production or something to do with that industry. Am I close?

my local store are very good at giving DTD .. I was actually shaking when she accused me of stickering the products myself anyway Ive had the last laugh because I also got 9 impulse for our pink day for cancer on friday and another bed guard for 60p also in pink for Friday ... 3 casserole dishes and loads of the bath creme and shower gels at 25p and 37 p!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Being accused of that would really have got my back up I would have gone loopy, asked to speak to the manager and ask for the accusation to be backed up by CCTV or I would sue for deformation of character. I wonder how many others she has used that intimidation tactic on shameful.

Glad you got the last laugh :T

Go on give it a try, first time is always a bit nerve wracking but 99% of the time CS are lovely and offer dtd without you mentioning it. If they try to offer just the difference all you say is 'Oh I thought it was double the difference' and the majority will say ok and give it. If you do get a CS that doesn't want to give dtd and you don't want to make a fuss then fine just say I'll have my money back then please.

Once you've had a good dtd once you'll be addicted, lol.:D

I feel so suspicitious staring at the SEL they are in tiny print & always feel I'm being watched  once finding one no problem asking for DTD

Hi Jumblejack, just thought i would let you know there is a small superstore in ilfracombe - approx 5 miles from you, i don't get a lot from there but they do have at the moment pukka pads A4 and pukka pads project books also staedtler fine liners for £1, they did have some impulse the other day but didn't look for them yesterday.

If you want a plan of attack go to Ilfracombe first then on to Braunton approx 8 miles then to Barnstaple Taw View extra and then to Rose Lane Barnstaple - could be an idea for a day out for you seen as the weather today is pretty carp.

If you need any help give me a shout.

    HTH xxx

Just seen you are heading home today so if you follow this route it will take you to the link road back to Tiverton where they have another store which is approx 5 miles from motorway which i presume you will be hitting to head on home.

Have picked up quite a few things from the Tiverton store so may be worth a stop.

When you hit the end of the link road go straight across the roundabout onto the dual carriageway take the next Tiverton exit follow road go straight across mini roundabout by mcdonalds next roundabout turn right then go immediate right and Tesco is down the end of this little road.

    All the best xxx
