Then i see a comment like yours and think why is this person using this site as it seems you do not need the savings that all other people inlcuding myself find very usefull. Life is short you might wan't to try joining us a normal person even for a short time.

I am still housebound after my car brokedown on Wednesday night and the wrost has been confirmed that the engine is now had it and needs to be replaced! :eek:

Sorry to hear about the car I don't suppose you know anyone who mends cars and can get you one from a scrap yard, most have been in accidents so depending where the bump was, still have useable working parts.

For anyone in my area there is one just off the A40 Western Ave (West London)go down the slip road where the Nuffield Arms used to be (a pile of bricks) and the scrap yard is on the right. I used to get bits for my fiesta but have no mechanic anymore.

cars are a nuisance & headache but sadly a necessity
