Good morning all! GOOD LUCK czerniacha on your interview.

I think artha is full of good intentions and underneath that tough exterior I think there is a big softie with a wicked sense of humour. She/ he reminds me of my neighbour who can come across all gruff but when you get to know them, they will do anything to help you, typical 'salt of the earth' type of person. :A

Planning a trip to a different T's than my local, on route to visiting a friend. Hoping for some lasagne sheets, impulse (scan at £3.50 in local store) and the Plenty kitchen roll.

Have a wonderful and productive day my fellow shoppers. :)

Off to bed ...... again. Fell asleep trying to get DS1 asleep. Only up so I can turn off the lights. I was looking forward to an episode of House and/or Criminal Minds and a wee dram but alas my body is telling me I need rest.

NIght folks and hopefully tomorrow will be a good glitching day. Personally I'm on the trail of half price Leapfrog Tag books now I've finally been able to track down the half price system. Could be a long day but DSs are worth it :D

hey, artha was replying to my original post, so I don't think you should be having a go at him/her!

It was my reflection, in that not many people that I know, are cutting back on their grocery bills!

Lot still at work, buy in town centre shops, eg M&S. Buy top range, buy top brands, don't plan ahead, wouldn't consider going late shopping to pick up whoopsies etc.

Those of us who are savvy shoppers are by far in the minority.

But then, the fewer that do shop carefully, leaves more bargains for those of that do shop carefully!

Off to work now, and no internet today.

Have a good day one and all!

Thanks for that midwinter. I agree that many people are not savvy shoppers for whatever reason. Perhaps some people are comforable enough not to need to. Good luck to them. I'm not jealous of them so I don't throw stones at them. At times I struggle to persuade OH to switch brands as many cheaper varieties of some products are everybit as good as brand leaders. As an example of that I once worked at KP foods shoveling potatoes onto the crisp production line on 12 hour permanent night shifts. The same crisps went into all of the own brand and brand leaders packs. That included Marks and Spencer Crisps. The only difference between budget packs and Marks&Spencer crisps was that once M&S crisps had been in the warehouse for two weeks they were fed to the crusher for landfill. So I guess you could say that M&S crisps were better quality because you could always guarantee freshness

Now that we are living on 40% of the income we had two years ago getting things cheaper through this site and shopping at Aldi can potentially make a big difference.
    Awaiting a new sig
