Agreed.... it was dishonest, but I guess going into a store on the sole intention of getting DTD is dishonest in the first place.

I guess the majority of the people who come on these boards could be described as either dishonest or immoral!!!

I believe Tesco do not genuinely go out to make mistakes and overcharge people hence their DTD policy whereas people on here actively go out and look for the DTD stuff.

I guess I was dishonest but so are most people if the truth be know.

I agree that we're all a little dishonest and I belive everyone does what's right for them...

I'm not here to judge anyone I'm here to save money...

I have to admit I have taken adventage of lots of mr T's offers, glitches etc., I actively look for dtd(and not the pennies ones, the big fat ones!!!) and once or twice I've been given the wrong amount of money back and didn't say anything(well, couple of quids really but still) however it all makes my money go a loong loong way and allows me to save for something nice and big which mr T can't provide(details one day ;))

I think it's brave of you to share(I wouldn't) but let's not make it now into a moral debate... ;)

Difficult call and only you can make that at the time, thing is though with that sort of error the poor CS girl who so nicely gave you the original DTD without hassle may be out of a job if her till is short

Whereas DTD is policy, individual CS staff shouldn't be at fault or risk their job when you get one

I had a similar situation today , had a number of pukka pads in my trolley didn't put them all on till and SA assumed less than there were, I could have stayed shtum but told her I had more. She wasn't grateful but at least my own concscience is clear
GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!

Thanks locarr was trying to search my posts for the info but kept getting stuck in the banter.

Debs, the pasta sauce is to the left of the main sauces, next to the lasagne drop. It is only stacked 2 wide so hard to spot, about half way up. Hth

In fleets, they also have the 3 pencil set with toppers, cars, for 20p as per sel, loads left today, loads of disney parachutes and yo yos too. If you can, tower had loads of thebcasserole dishes, in boxes above display, and heaps of impulse.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
  • I think Artha's in line to get a 10 inch banana, somebody will have to volunteer to give it to him :D

Oh God, not the old banana up the tailpipe routine again.... :)

I see it from the other side which is Ts prices should be correct then DTD would not be needed
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Evening. Still a few bargains knocking about in the stationery aisle. Tonight I got some notes and letter sets in a nice box. Called Paisley notes and letter set, its in a pretty multicoloured box for £1. BC 5051898843465. Theres a fairly big range in this pattern, a pack of 6 matching pencils was 39p. Would be nice for a teachers christmas present, along with a chocolate orange :rotfl:
Also picked up some 8 packs of Disney Fairies and Toy Story 3 felt tips for 25p a pack.
Learn Together Counting Fun was 10p a box! BC 5052003611238
Also got a couple of Thomas at the Farm sets sel was £4 but they went through at £2.
Tesco Value car sponges were 7p.
