"Don't get your hopes up though as there are hundreds of applicants for the few jobs available and in some ways I hope the jobs go to those who desperatly need them rather than someone like myself who will interview well."

I'm not sure when you last went for an interview but you are just as likely to be interviewed by someone very much younger without much experience of the world of work or anything else for that matter.

I can understand where you are coming from, you used to be a financial advisor etc but and this is a very hard thing to comphrehend, now you are not, I used to have a very good job, I was made redundant then I had an accident & now I can't work at all, I don't think I neededthe lesson but it does teach you to be humble, you just have to accept that was the past and this is where you are now, its not easy.

The night before last I was begging for Andrex Puppy Codes so I could get a free ticket to the cinema how sad is that !

Sadly there's not much useful I can give you apart from saying keep trying> As long as you keep trying there is hope. Believe in yourself and that will come through.

This thread reminds me of the good old DTD days!

Does anyone know if the Uncle Bens glitch is still working in Express stores.
Would also be interested to hear if the Pasta & Sauce one is still working.

    Thanks

    Thats not sad.

Thats dealing with life in whatever way possible to ensure you enjoy not endure - good times will come and go and so will the bad times, the good times are just around the corner - unfortunately we dont know just which corner.

But good for you - in doing what it takes. Keep your head up and enjoy the pictures. :)

    Well I'm back!

I went to three Mr Ts and had varying success. I got:

    8 x Pantene Shampoo for 24p each
    15 x Lasagne sheets at 14p each
3 x dog toys with rubber wheels on @ £1.29 each
    3 x 50p stainless steel dog bowls
3 x poop bags and holder @ 35p each (fill these with the cheap nappy bags). :rotfl:
    Reduced organic bananas 12p
    Reduced finest oranges 10p
    Reduced mixed peppers 10p
2 x flowers for OHs birthday tomorrow £1 each but lad missed reduced sticker on one of them and scanned them at £4 £6 DTD back :D:D
Ambre Solair stick (kids allergic to cream) for £2 each + some cooling spray.
Value duvet for £5.71 + value pillow at £1.29:money:
    Reduced 4 x pots of chicken stock £1.49 now 10p each. :j

I forgot to look for the Pringles. Oh and Sister got 4 lots of Whiskers Oh so Fresh fishy things for £2.32 a box.

B*adfo*rd Can*al Road still has 4 x £9.97 photo frames left in anyone wants them. They have cuprinol with SEL saying free sprayer but no sprayers in sight! :(
No impulse sets left but SEL says 84p b2gof
The daz at £4 was flying out the door! :rotfl:
The also have a little freezer full of the BBQ stuff but my freezer is full.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
    Updated 14/10/14 :A
