Nikkilala,
I have to admiti it is a bit of a mickey take of this thread and also of sites like facebook but I would hope that people don't take it too seriously. Some of the best forms of humour are when people laugh at themselves. I'm always doing that when I realise how silly I've been at times. If you can't laugh at yourself then there is no future
We are all on this site for one reason: to help each other to save money and to help each other to either have a laugh or think a bit more seriously. I may have tried too hard in the latter context but believe me it has been well intentioned and have had a lot of support in some of my posts that you may not have agreed with. I think it has fallen on deaf ears but that is perhaps because people don't have the time to reflect on these things and have more pressing things to deal with. I have no problem with that. No malice aforthought or other agendas. If you knew me personally you would realise what a well respected and experienced person I am in a number of areas including finance, if a little brash and outspoken(OH view on me)
I have never intentionally been rude which you accused me which is why I asked to have some examples of if only to understand how I might better get my points across. I would still like to hear those, not to continue a slagging match which I don't want to get into, but to help me phrase my points better.
It has been a difficult time for me in the last week so please bear with me
Artha in no way have I been involved in a slagging match with you. If you feel that your posts have been taken out of context then I would suggest that you start adding the odd smilie or wink to your posts so as people are aware that you are joking. This thread is a happy, nice, helpful one of which I am sure you aware,;)

Oh ok thanks for that but as I recall your last post to me was that you are never going to reply to any of my posts again because I've been so rude. That knocked me back quite a lot when I couldn't see what on earth I'd said that could be rude and believe me for someone in my position that was quite a setback. That's not only because of the current position I'm in because of the car accident but because of a long standing condition I have. If you can't remember why you said I was so rude then perhaps you could possibly be a bit more careful when replying to those who might be vulnerable please? (That is said in a soft voice not a complaining one just in case it is misunderstood)Awaiting a new sig0 -
The costs have been incurred after being dragged into court to fight a contact order so I doubt I'll see a penny of it back. What I'm about to hand over to my solicitor is what I get per month to pay the bills and put food on the table. All this and he's already been told by a judge that the kids are too young for overnights but I have to pay hundreds while he fights another pathetic battle to get his own way.
Thank god I have a stash of soup & custard should all else fail!:rotfl:
Sorry that was way off topic!
Hi caz,
Chin up. Been there done that, sorry to say took me 10 years but was an extreme example of a tit of an ex which sadly ended with ss being involved, only good thing was this meant i didnt have to pay fees, up until then cost was immense. Nearly £10k. Good will prevail.
Its a private matter so courts dont award monies for costs etc unless ss are involved, that would have to be extreme though. A pitty our system means you ave to choose between spending hard earned money on food and bills or your childrens well being. It onky supports thoses that dont work. My ex never paid a penny and took mick out of the fact me and partner work.
Judges have seen every poss senario and know whats what. Best of luck xPlease don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
