Oh no I don't think I can cope, once a week to Mr T is too much for me  wonder what is classified as a top store, Harrods, Harvey Nicks ?

Note they say "AND OTHER TOP STORES" so by that I take it that they class Mr T as a top store

I hope karlie comes on soon, I miss my pictures. It's like my Garfield strip of the thread!

Will this fill the gap till Karlie's return?

Oh ok thanks for that but as I recall your last post to me was that you are never going to reply to any of my posts again because I've been so rude. That knocked me back quite a lot when I couldn't see what on earth I'd said that could be rude and believe me for someone in my position that was quite a setback. That's not only because of the current position I'm in because of the car accident but because of a long standing condition I have. If you can't remember why you said I was so rude then perhaps you could possibly be a bit more careful when replying to those who might be vulnerable please? (That is said in a soft voice not a complaining one just in case it is misunderstood)

Artha I did speedread many of your posts earlier this evening and i'm afraid they did come across quite nasty.

There are many on here who have long standing conditions, ongoing problems in their lives and are vulnerable but it isn't really an excuse to be so nasty or abrupt how do you know those who you have been replying to are not just as vunerable as you ?

The people on here are very forgiving and accepting and it seems are willing to draw a line under this, it may be a good idea to think before you press the submit button or ask OH to read it in case it is misintepreted. (time for bed spelling has gone to pot now)

Are you taking painkillers as a result of your accident? They can mess with your head. Redundancy is a terrible thing on top of the long standing condition and now the car accident are you ready to go for the job interview, I know being at home sucks but it might be best to wait till your head is in a better place.

Night all lets see what tomorrow brings:beer:

Wow, it's just taken me about an hour to catch up on todays' posts. There are a few things mentioned that I didn't know about (eg the chicken) but I think that's because I've missed the last day or two - so many tesco threads, so little time. I spent most of yesterday on the 'poll' threads I think - well done Nikki!

Hello to the regulars and newbies by the way. I really do enjoy this thread - it is as friendly as they say - but I do struggle to read through it all at times and find the grabbits - which is why I voted yes in the poll to get grabbits reinstated to their proper place on the grabbits board.

Celebrate: is there anything in 'our' local I can nab whilst you are away? I managed to get some Pantene but the Pukka Pads and Casseroles were full price. Well done on the towels, I've only been successful in getting the Lime ones (not my first choice of colour). Are you still after the red ones?

Someone mentioned getting dtd on Haribo, making them 80p. These were 58p each at Wilkos the other day.

Finally, does anyone know if the pantene brunette can be used by blondes? Got a few for family then realised not many of them have dark hair - doh!

ps where happychappy...he hasn't checked in ...do we know if he's ok?

Someone mentioned something about 'roaming' on his phone earlier - so perhaps he has had to curtail his usage?

artha sorry to hear about your accident, are you sure you're fit to work though:cool: , i personally have been confused by your posts but do think you have a friendly side that's just bursting to get out and join in the fun!
Thank you for that thought. Despite my dissagreeing with some aspects of this thread, which I've posted about and we'll just have to agree to differ,I find your post refreshing and uplifting. I hope Im fit enough to go for the interview but if I don't get the job It's not a major problem. I just thought heres a great chance to be an insider for a short while in the Tesco system so I can pass on useful info. The sacrifices I make to help others!
Don't get your hopes up though as there are hundreds of applicants for the few jobs available and in some ways I hope the jobs go to those who desperatly need them rather than someone like myself who will interview well.
Talking of Tesco I would just like to clear something up about my being a Tesco shareholder> I think I've only mentioned it a couple of times in relevant posts but I found myself being attacked by someone who said I should stop going on about it. The reason I mentioned it is that over on the pure money threads that I mainly frequent it is protocol/courtesy to declare your interests. e.g. if you are a financial advisor you have to declare it I have got used to doing that but it seemed to cause a few people problems over here
    Awaiting a new sig

Just a suggestions boy & girls we all like to add a bit of chat on here, would it be a good idea to put the grabbit/bargain part of our post in bold type or underlined & if possible the last four digits of the barcode ?
