    Noooooooo......don't be a lurker!

Sometimes your feelings/emotions get the better of you and you have to reply. But I've added a few usernames to my 'ignore list' from last night.

I've also added a few other users to my 'ignore list'; these include celebrate, nikkilala, czernichiazaiae, issyc, jumblejack, eileen, toni, mymerrywidow etc. :rotfl:

    Oi mrs!!!
How come my name is top of the list?!:rotfl:

Trying to catch up with the thread is hard enough but to try and multiquote on my phone is a nightmare, anyway failed to find the saucepans today, can any kind person post a pic

Also the flipping toy story bags scanned at £2.50 in my local is there more than one type?

My only bargain today was a lone airwick freshmatic imotion compact precious silk and oriental orchids -think it scanned at just over £1

    So whatever we're voting on I'm in!:rotfl::T

Nice to see the thread back to normal

Whoever was talking about garages I'd love to see some pics, mine woul be way too embarrassing lol, might make me feel normal if any if you lot were worse than me!

I like it here....you all seem really friendly :)
I've always previously shopped at Sainsbury's or Morrisons as they are local to me so I'm only just getting into the Tesco deals and can't believe the bargains I've missed over the years!
It's a good 15 -20 miles to my nearest big tesco's and the only ones within 5 miles are the little local ones with no parking and never seem to have the offers posted on here in stock.
So I need to figure the best times to go to either the Extra at Lee Mill Plymouth or the large store at Newton Abbot.
Some people have mentioned that they love the deals on a Tuesday. Why is this....I thought they changed on Wednesdays?
Also which are the best type of store to get the bargains....or does it not make any difference?
    I understand DTD....but what's JTD...is it price matching?
Hope you don't mind all the questions!

Hard to say which type of T is best as some glitches only happen for example in Expresses(the smallest ones) like the uncle ben's rice/risotto one at the moment(not every express but it is worth to run a "test" ;) )
an extra is usually best for dtds(and some glitches too as well as a normal superstore)
Tuesday is good for glitches as the clever heads at T sometimes press their buttons too early and a new offer starts on Tuesday instead of Wednasday and overlaps with a current offer which might give us some free items... ;)
JTD is the price check thing agains Asda(used to be double - that was heaven!:p)

    hth :)

tuesdays are good days because sometimes the offers from this week and the offers from next week both go through the till. That is why Terrys Chocolate Oranges (TCO's) where less than £2 for 6 last tuesday.

JTD is when you submit your Tesco receipt to their computer and it will tell you if your shop was cheaper than at Asda or not. If it was, then you get a voucher for the difference.

It is an art in finding products that are cheap in Asda, higher priced in Tesco and also have some other kind of offer at Tesco. For example some of the Wines in the £10 meal deal go through the till at £7-8, then you get a big reduction in the meal deal. However the system does not always recognise this reduction as it as a grouped product deal so will give you a JTD voucher against the cheaper Asda wine which makes your £10 meal deal even better value.

No sorry I can't post a picture, not clever enough for that, all the info you need is on my post this afternoon, a few pages back now with code description etc. They are packaged on clear film one on top of other not the value ones or lets cook. White label Tesco written in Grey description in black.

I should try & take a pic of the garage when I find the mouse or mice

There are 2 different TS3 bags from what I've seen. One is fairly dark and has Buzz on it and in the 2 stores I've found the cheap ones in, the Buzz ones have been at the back of the peg.

The one you're looking for has Buzz, Jessie & Woody on the front, has a red cord handle and on the bottom right is written "Toys at play". Barcode 5015116189391.
  • Wow, this thread moves at some speed!! Just stumbled across it recently, but haven't got round to posting yet as haven't been around much for the last week so is there some kind of initiation test or can anyone join in?! ;):D

Haven't found anything exciting in Mr T's recently, but I'm always keeping my eyes peeled! Was gutted when I realised I had missed the TCO :(

Hopefully I'll be around a bit more and be able to find something to share with you all ;)
