evening everyone!
thanks for your concern nikkilala, I'm here...In fact I've been here almost all day on my phone! (I apologize for not hitting the Thanks button when I'm reading it on my phone as it's too much hassle scrolling right and left...
but I thank you when I'm using my laptop!)
So today I got some free uncle ben's risotto! :j:j:j
Went to my old local express, sels were 2for2gbp and presto! 2xchicken&mushroom risotto plus 4 pints of milk = 0.58p
went back for two more(would get more but no risotto left) and two of pilau rice(paid 52p for two packs)
Been to another express but it didn't work there... sels were 3for4gbp, b1g1f, b2g2f... it only took off one lot of discounts so "forgot my purse"I'll try my new local tomorrow...
Then I went to my old local superstore and got 3ximpulse mini set :j sel was 4.99! no wonder there were 6 on the shelf... Got two tubes of king size extreme pringles but they went through at 1.00gbpnever mind...
And I also went to BB and got 4 Toy Story gift bags at 1p each! :j(sorry, no more left... unless they restocked...) Had a quick look around but didn't find anything else...
I was in trouble anyway when I finally left the store as my bf was  at me for spending ages(what?!) in there again(?!) when I only said it will be a minute... (it was in compare to what time I normally spend in a store!)
Oh well, I told him to give me his car and let me go myself but he insisted...
I need to go and pick up my bedding and towels tomorrow and see if I can get more rice/risotto... had some of the pilau rice for dinner tonight and it was really nice...
PS. Just head ups for a small phone dtd: I think the pink panasonic 19.99/39.99 promotion run out yesterday? bb had the sel removed but others might not...? good luck!
PS2. Glad our thread is back to normal today! :j (well nearly... and we would really appreciate if the person(s) who stayed would try to be friendly and not to cause any more arguments?)
PS3. sorry...because of what's going on with T grabbits I think we should post the best finds on here as well so nobody misses out because they don't have time to look in so many different places for good deals? :A

I like it here....you all seem really friendly
I've always previously shopped at Sainsbury's or Morrisons as they are local to me so I'm only just getting into the Tesco deals and can't believe the bargains I've missed over the years!
It's a good 15 -20 miles to my nearest big tesco's and the only ones within 5 miles are the little local ones with no parking and never seem to have the offers posted on here in stock.
So I need to figure the best times to go to either the Extra at Lee Mill Plymouth or the large store at Newton Abbot.
Some people have mentioned that they love the deals on a Tuesday. Why is this....I thought they changed on Wednesdays?
Also which are the best type of store to get the bargains....or does it not make any difference?
I understand DTD....but what's JTD...is it price matching?
Hope you don't mind all the questions! My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
