Can I ask about the windbreak please..... seen a few different ones but we don't have a SS and could do with a windbreak for next year if it's cheap enough! Thanks.

My OH's good at breaking wind at any time of the year and for free
Do you want to borrow him?

Sorry gross way to end the night, couldn't help myself

Just been trying to explain to someone on twitter how DTD works at 120 characters a time. :(

My offering for just under 100 characters:

Label says £2. You pay £3 at till. Overpaid by £1. Tesco give you DTD of £2. Net result you pay £1.

I was just thinking about the golden months of DTD ( end of march till May/June for me) and how I hardly spent any money on shopping, neither did my Mum, daughter or OH. I have my house on the market so lots of my stuff is in my spare shed. Last week I went on hols by car to my sis in Switzerland and took her washing powder, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, Dove Deodorant (10P) Shower Gel and lots of new Finest Bed Linen. I then realised quite how much stuff I actually have and now realise why Mr T's profits are down. Ha Ha

If only he understood it that way. :(

Had just come back to post about the windbreak as been looking for the receipt.

Not sure how much yours would cost celebrate but mine was £3.25, and sorry elsie1969 I don't have barcode at the moment as it's still in car and weather not any better. I will look in morning, probably will have a bit more info on the packaging too.

I can think of more than 1000 reasons why Ts profits are down :D

I only got into the Asda/Tesco DTD for a week before they changed it but it was enough to give me almost 7 months supply of baby formula (I know you weren't meant to use the vouchers to buy it but needs must!!), I still haven't opened any boxes of Finish tablets as the amount of dirty crockery/cutlery has decreased dramatically since the Ex left and I discovered that Ts provides heat, light and entertainment instead of me sitting in front of the TV drinking cuppa after cuppa.
If only he understood it that way. :(

Some people just aren't worth the hassle. I've tried explaining some of the glitches to people in store and they look at me like I have 3 heads. One person I told about the custard lifted a whole 3 pots and still kept the tetra pack in her trolley. Mind you, I could be anyone couldn't I but I don't like not sharing the glory of glitches with my fellow country folk.

Well I'm off to finish one of my dinky bottles of vino (my first drinky poo in 2 weeks since DS1 took ill) then off to bed to plot my attack on the new store on Saturday. I actually have to write a shopping list as well as there's some food stuffs I actually need and I doubt there's gonna be glitches on them :(
