Solar energy - Feed-in Tariff payment delays - your experiences?

I must have fallen lucky on this one, Southern Electric seem to regularly send a cheque about 4 weeks after the meter period ends. I'm not unhappy about that. The only thing annoyed me, when we started last march no-one told us there would be no payments until the application form was received, so we lost a month.0

I also got the '45 days' reply from E.On after submitting my 4th of February reading.
I've not received a statement of FIT's payable to date but the correct money was deposited in my bank by E.On on the 24th Feb
They're obviously struggling to keep up with the paperwork but in my case payment was made after just 20 days which going by previous experience seems normal0 -
.....and we are all going to remember to read our meters again at midnight on 31st of March aren't we?0

No real need. It should be exactly the same as the reading at 9pm or even 6am next day.:DNE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
Will it be daylight a 06:00, when do the clocks go forward?0

It's unlikely it will be light enough to start generating at 6AM BST on 31st March (BST starts 25th March).
I'll be submitting my reading to EDF on the last working day of the month (during working hours) at the very latest, ie before 5pm on Friday 30th March.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -
Even if there is some daylight around at a 'real' 5am that day, it's unlikely to be generating anything and absolutely certainly won't have chucked out a whole kwh by then. Indeed, even if you wait till 9am you'd get a reading very close to midnight's - probably closer than their estimate would have been.
My next quarterly reading isn't due till May but I'm intending to send an 'extra' email with the latest reading on 1st April marked "for information only" and report both that and the 'claim' reading in May.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
I'm with ScottishPower.
Latest claim made 15th Feb; auto acknowledged instantly and 'proper' response within a few mins promising payment "in next 28 days".

I've always phoned ours though to SP and been given the date for the BACS transfer as the reading is entered into the system .... payment by BACS has always been on the first Friday after two weeks have passed .... perhaps this changes a little if not manually processed immediately ...
