The bad news is that it comes with a Daily Express.

I didn't say I was going to read it :)

Is this what it has come to? Continually posting front pages from the Express?

That, and poucing on any thread that stems from a moneyweek article and rolling around laughing at the source suggesting no article from them is worth any discussion.

genuinely never been here before today

Wow, and yet you are familiar enough with Hamish and Sibley to post:

    "sibley, hamish

i'm sure one day, that someone will write a PhD on you two

it would be fascinating to study how your greed and small minded bigotry had shaped your life so much that you spent hour upon hour, scouring mutiple internet forums trying to talk up the housing market

i can't work out whether to be fascinated by you, or to just feel very, very sorry for you

i certainly feel sorry for anyone who knows you....
although, i doubt you have any friends with your attitudes and perspectives.....in fact, i suspect you are both very lonely".

And savvy enough to choose an ID so very close to Sibley's (seems a bit fishy to me). ;)

well, as i said the post you quote, sibley and hamish patrol multiple forums on a daily basis, quoting their obcession with house price rises

the fact that my name is similar to sibley's is purely coincidental....the dot before it prevents any confusion...in the same way that i could have used sibley1...or whatever

i'm not really sure why you are so concernded?

Concernded isn't the right word, more interested in why someone who had never visited the site before today has such seemingly entrenched views on two or our more prolific posters.

It's hilarious reading the bulls here desperately clinging on to the latest express headline, you just know the carnage is going to happen when you read these headlines :)

5.3% a year is hardly a mindblowing investment, even if we add on possible rental yield.

Plus its not likely we'll see this kind of boom repeated over the next 10 years.
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

What clearly irritates the HPCers is that this news contradicts that which they would like the general public to see.

To the assertion that "no-one reads the Express anyway" it appears that it has a circulation of 625k daily and if you add the 2.5k views on HPC then its getting fairly widely read not only by the general populace but also by the bitter and twisted HPCers (which is much more satisfying).

Did you just deliberately misspell "concerned" Pimps? :naughty:

Yes but that's on your house price. You most likely only put forward a deposit of circa 10% so its a pretty good return on your deposit.
