loosing oil? ?

Hi all. I am at my wits end with my combi boiler. I have had numerous 'plumbers' and oil boiler service engineers around to check efficiency and leeks, they all say my system is fine.
I am using on average 5 litres of kerosene a day, that is just for 1family bath at night
the level does not go down when system is. Turned off, i cannot even contimplate heating the house this winter as ill just see the level going down in front of my eyes. I am so frustrated.
the boiler is a grant combi. 11 years old. As i say it has been given a clean bill of health.
any suggestions or comments regarding this useage gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance.

I wonder if this is becoming a pattern, I was told the same from two people recently, they both report that their heating oil is not going as far as it used to......their words were "could they be adding something to reduce its calorific value"?
Although your boiler is 11 years old, and I take it, that the system is around 85% efficent or higher, and no leaks anywhere, do you have any history of how many litres per day you were using last year?...year before? There are three types of people in this world...those that can count ...and those that can't!

No history from previous years, i have used different suppliers too re the 'calorific content ' theory. Tank is also locked.
I remember a full fill '1200'litres lasted 12 months in the early days. Wheras now its more likely twice that volume.
Yes the efficiency is 85%+
Thanks sofar though.0 -
If the boiler checks out OK, and the tank is locked (I assume the neighbour doesn't have a key?) the next obvious possibility is a leak in the feed bewteen the two.0

hmm, If there was a leak between the two......wouldn't the tank level still drop? or if there is a tiger loop fitted, does that stop flow? There are three types of people in this world...those that can count ...and those that can't!
