Updated sig, now up to £65 out of £95 after ebay sales, got about 20 lots that end on sunday so hoping for more!
October £5 Per Day Challenge - £65/£95
  • Just ordered the Terry Pratchett book online from Tesco as I get it for my BIL every year. Normally pay £10 for it.....so I'm going to take that and remove what I spent which was £3.75 making a saving of £6.25 (had to pay for postage, but had an old club card voucher I'd never used off too)

    Off to update my sig

No wonder i'm always skint, think im gonna have to talk to a few creditors when im on maternity as £130ish a week does work out to £1280 a month somehow?!?!?

Hugs hopless, good luck with talking to the creditors, be strong. :o
:Twooho i did it!!! just update my sig to show £239, my target was £5 a day=£155 so i did it!!

Well done sugarbube :j:j Keep going!
I've been putting all of the "make £5/day" cash into a separate bank account; now over £1000!! And I've only been doing it since May.
Now off to juice some apples for more cider!

:j:j:j well done thrifty! that's fab! I'm so pleased for you:j It's sort of encouraged me to save mine in a bank account now as well... I do always try but end up having to use it to live off :( Well no more! I'm going to be strong and put it into a spare bank account I have from now on!

Aesop, hugs :( u sound proper pi55ed off hun. Only advice I have is to think it through before you make any decisions, altho I know you will anyway :o jobs seem a bit hard to come by at the minute, so don't jump into a decision until you have another job/know you can defo manage without. Look at me preaching, I just know what it's like to be unhappy at work and I for one could just not bother turning up on regular occassions :o

Nat, I hope she's ok.. let us know if you hear back from her :(

    xx
  • £5.35 today from surveys. I have just joined shopandscan so that should add some more. Having problems though because I've transmitted some barcodes and it won't reset .

there's a thread on mse about shop and scan, but if you cannot get it to reset, point it at a blank wall, hold down the clicker until the light goes out - think the light has to go red, and it should reset.
  • Just looked up shop and scan as I'm on a money earning hunt and I can't do it on a mac. :( Boohoo. Ah well I'm spreading myself thin as it is completing surveys till the cows come home so I suppose I can just stick to that..

Anyone have any other good ideas, I think I'm on most survey sites now, even though Pcone doesn't seem to want me.
