  • Well not been online for a bit. And have nothing to add. Things are a bit rubbish at the minute. Why can't life just be simple??

Aseop, sending you some HUGE ((((((hugs)))))) and i really do hope things pick up for you soon

On a slightly positive note, my vouchers have arrived from Park Hampers. Because i did most of my christmas shopping when i got my cheque last month i know i can at least get some food shopping this weekend. because i can spend them at iceland. I haven't done any food shopping for 3 weeks (apart from bred and milk) because i've been trying to use up everything in my cupboards and freezer. Its amazing how long i've gone without shopping but there is very little left and i was worried about how i was gonna get any food this weekend.

I really really need some new clothes but i don't wanna spend the vouchers on this as i don't quite know how i'm gonna make it through the next few weeks. Back to sleepless nights for me! On a plus note, i recieved 3 letters from various companies the last couple of weeks thanking me for clearing my accounts and saying i now owe them ZERO. Wish i could say this about them ALL! Lol

Dont worry Aesop, it will get better, promise. How are you doing today, feeling any better?

I'm trying to be really positive today. not sure how long it will last though.

Am doing all my surveys today, am going to ditch a few more companies once I get to pay out as they just keep screening me out and that is a waste of time.

that will leave me with the ones that are worth it to concentrate on.

still need to find a way to make more money, but need to try and fit around DH and DS, so neither feel neglected.

have MS job on Sat, but again it is one I pay out for upfront.

hmm just had a thought, I bought the £5 boots treat street voucher yesterday and if I buy the £15 paypal offer, then I could use that to buy on the treat street site, so not having to pay actual money... although will be paying out £5 initially, but if can find something cheap enough, leaves money over for another glitch/site...

    need to think about it.

I had £8.07 left over from the shopping this week. I have just received cheque for free Chicago Town pizza £1.74 so have added that to total. I've just got an email from Musicmagpie saying cheque is in the post so will add that when it arrives.

Thanks, you've just reminded me to swing by the Post Office on my way into town to buy a stamp to send mine off too!

  • A view from the experienced "monthly target hitters" please!!

I am finding it so hard to increase my October total (nothing moving on G**tree, but there are prices below which I will not go:mad:!)

I have gone through all previous cards and accounts. How sad is this - I have found an account that I had completely forgotten about that has some cash in it:beer:. I wouldn't have come across it by accident, so can I count it in this month's total? (Talk about clutching at straws!)

If it helps sway the view, I suppose that this post might encourage others to do the same searches:D!!

my mantra is if you can use the money to save or pay bills/creditors/etc then you can count it.
