Nor has my OHs. I got mind within a few days, so getting impatient about this one!!
Despite the fact that it wouldn't have been used yet anyway as we already have some Amazon vouchers to use, and will most likely uuse it for baby/Christmas which are both at the end of the year.

But still, I would prefer it sitting in my Inbox (well, technically in my dedicated Amazon vouchers folder in my email account!!) than somewhere in McCains land or Cyber world!!

I'm glad there's a few of us still waiting - makes it much more likely that it's just them still clearing their backlog rather than me accidentally having deleted it or something silly!!

I have some ebay money too but can't face going on there to figure out my fees yet. That's all my ebay stuff ended now and I don't think I'll bother with it anymore. The extra cash was nice but the stress of my one awful buyer has cancelled it out for me. I'm doing well on Folksy so sticking to that and surveys from now on.

Definitely, I'm really excited to get started so it's a pain having to wait! How long does it usually take to loan the money out, once it's been transferred in? I've gone for mid range rates in most categories.

Mmmmm can take a while ~ they have to match your lending offers to a borrower and that's dependent on what interest rate you're asking ie if you're looking for a higher rate it can take longer to find a match, also the borrower has to agree the rate etc.

Will often be more than a month until you receive your first capital/interest repayment dependent on when the loan was agreed so don't get concerned. Zopa send you a really useful e mail on a Monday detailing your weekly account update so that will help you keep track.

Fairy is more experienced than I so she may be able to jump in with some much more helpful hints and tips ;)

We have just changed our car insurance and saved over £78 on the best other quote so pleased with that. I've also had some good luck in the spending department - bought 2 of something not knowing it was buy one get one free so got £6 item free and then bought 3 of something else and got another 96p unexpectedly so good night!

Just checked the bank and have been paid for a mystery shop so adding £15 to my total.

Plus a few items ended on ebay this evening so will wait for payments to work out my fees and then add the total when I transfer it in to my bank account.

Sorry Fairy I didn't mean to put you on the spot and I do understand what you mean. I will read up a bit more on it but I was only going to try a small amount anyway.:D

Its ok Rosie, no problem :) i guess i just meant i'm not really qualified to give financial advice as such LOL! I'm glad you have decided to give the site a go and i'm happy to talk you through what i know about it :)
For all potential zopa~ites, I also list on all markets and only offer £10 per listing, I guess I figure that if someone defaults somewhere down the line I can just about live with that loss. A saying that I live my life by is 'never lend what you can't afford to lose' and that fits in pretty well with my zopa lending. Like fairy says it is very much down to the individuals attitude to risk

I agree completely with the never lend what you can't afford to lose principle too saorsie ;)

And Hurray, i have just figured out how to quote from different posts :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

As for earnies today, i posted another 6 parcels but not looking at the fees bit till tomorrow so will add an amount then :)
