I took some stuff back my MIL had bought DD that didn't fit - and used credit note to buy food for MIL and her friend's visit! Poetic justice I thought! I have spent other money on clothes for DD this week so don't feel guilty. So that is £22.99 in the kitty for this month's challenge!

    Some great starts everyone! :j

I have a feeling this is going to be a great month for money making as not only are we celebrating the challenge's birthday, but October is about the time that people start thinking about Xmas :santa2: (I know I am!) so we've got that extra motivation to keep us going :D

I didn't think I'd be able to add anything until mid week but I just checked my account to find that a £10 refund cleared yesterday :D I bought a gift for £30 last week only to find that it was reduced to £20 three days later  Luckily I hadn't given it to them by that point so I took it in for a refund and bought it again at the new price.

Well so far £160 on ebay from a buy it now item and £225 at car boot this morning. It started to rain at 7.30 am but I stuck it out and had a good morning in the end.

Dropped all the unsold clothes off at the recycling on the way home. Just got 3 boxes of unsold stuff to keep for next year.

Bf bought a takeaway and I pocketed the change, £4.50 :D
Also got 5p interest! Shows how tight I've become that I noticed an extra 5p in my account.
I have an ebay sale but it's a huge heavy book and I think I may have undercharged postage, so I'll figure it out after it's been posted.
